Walt Disney World Annual Passholders are getting some welcome news as November approaches, and it could make visiting the theme parks a little easier.
For years, Disney’s reservation requirements have frustrated some frequent visitors who would rather decide which park to visit without planning everything in advance.
Although Disney has relaxed certain restrictions over time, Annual Passholders still face reservation requirements depending on when and where they visit.
Now, Disney has confirmed that those restrictions will be lifted on select dates beginning November 1, giving eligible Passholders more freedom to enjoy the parks without making reservations beforehand.

Disney World Announces November 1 Reservation Changes
Walt Disney World has officially added its first two Good to Go Days for November 2026.
Disney has designated Sunday, November 1, and Thursday, November 5, as dates when eligible Annual Passholders can enter any of the resort’s four theme parks without an advance reservation.
That includes Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The November 1 announcement is particularly important because the date falls on a Sunday.
Under Disney’s usual Annual Passholder rules, Magic Kingdom requires reservations on weekends, even when Passholders can enter other parks after 2 p.m. without one.
However, November 1 will be different.
Eligible Passholders can visit Magic Kingdom without securing a reservation, giving them more flexibility to enjoy the park whenever they choose.
For locals who frequently make spontaneous Disney World visits, that could be a welcome change.
Disney World Restrictions Aren’t Completely Disappearing
While the announcement gives Passholders more freedom, it doesn’t eliminate every admission requirement.
Annual Pass blockout dates remain in effect, meaning guests must still follow the restrictions associated with their particular pass.
Disney also maintains theme park capacity limitations, so admission isn’t guaranteed if a park reaches capacity.
Additionally, the reservation-free policy only applies to the designated Good to Go Days.
November 2, November 3, and November 4 have not received that designation.
Passholders visiting on those dates must follow Disney’s normal reservation requirements or use the applicable after-2 p.m. entry exception.
Disney has not announced a permanent elimination of its Annual Passholder reservation system.

More Changes Could Arrive Throughout November
Passholders who already have reservations for November 1 or November 5 won’t need to cancel them manually.
Disney automatically adjusts existing reservations when dates become Good to Go Days, ensuring they no longer count against a Passholder’s reservation limit.
Guests can still view their plans through My Disney Experience.
With the holiday season approaching, additional Good to Go Days could become available throughout November.
Disney periodically updates its calendar, so Passholders should continue checking for new announcements.
For now, November 1 and November 5 offer something frequent Disney World visitors appreciate: the ability to enjoy their favorite parks without another reservation standing in the way.
