Disney World Restaurant Lineup Changing for 2027: 6 New Dining Locations Confirmed
Walt Disney World guests will have a lot more to check out in 2027 than just new attractions.
Major expansion projects are taking shape across the resort, including new areas inside the theme parks and the opening of Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge. While rides and entertainment will naturally draw plenty of attention, Disney is also expanding its dining lineup.
Six new restaurants and dining locations are currently confirmed for 2027. They range from an enormous quick-service destination at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to restaurants inspired by Monsters, Inc. (2001) and new options at Disney’s upcoming resort.
Disney hasn’t revealed every menu yet, but there’s already plenty we know.
Moonglade Heads to Lakeshore Lodge
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will officially welcome guests beginning July 1, 2027, and Moonglade will provide one of the resort’s more traditional dining experiences.
The table-service restaurant will serve seasonal dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients. Its setting will also play a major role in the experience, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the natural surroundings.
Disney hasn’t shared a complete menu or reservation details yet.
What we know:

Monstropolis Gets Harryhausen’s
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Harryhausen’s will bring a familiar location from Monsters, Inc. (2001) into Monstropolis.
The movie-inspired restaurant will feature sushi, but guests won’t have to order it. Disney has confirmed that additional choices will appear on the menu and has teased a dining experience unlike anything currently available at Walt Disney World.
An exact opening date hasn’t been announced.

Bay Lake Provisions Serves All Day
Guests staying at Lakeshore Lodge will also have a more casual choice.
Bay Lake Provisions will operate as a marketplace-style quick-service location with an open kitchen. Guests will be able to visit throughout the day, making it a convenient alternative to a longer table-service meal.
Disney will also incorporate woodland creatures inspired by familiar Disney classics into the location.

Archie Gets His Own Restaurant
Monstropolis will offer another quick-service choice with Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza.
The restaurant gets its name from Archie, the six-legged Scare Pig featured in Monsters University (2013). As the restaurant’s name suggests, pizza will take center stage.
Disney hasn’t shared a complete menu, leaving plenty of details still to come before guests can place their first orders.

Paint Out Point Heads Poolside
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge’s third new dining location will cater to guests enjoying the resort’s recreation areas.

Instead of heading elsewhere for food, pool guests can grab shareable bites and specialty beverages nearby.

- Dining style: Pool bar and grill
- Menu: Shareable bites and specialty beverages
- Opening: July 1, 2027

Animal Kingdom Goes Even Bigger
One of the six additions doesn’t have an official name yet.
Pueblo Esperanza at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will feature a large hacienda housing one of Walt Disney World’s largest quick-service restaurants.
Disney hasn’t announced a menu or provided many other details, making this one of the biggest remaining mysteries among the six locations.
What we know:
- Location: Pueblo Esperanza at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Official name: Not announced
- Dining style: Quick service
- Size: One of Disney World’s largest quick-service restaurants

Six New Places Are Coming
Disney’s 2027 expansion will give guests plenty of new experiences beyond the rides.
Lakeshore Lodge will account for three of these dining additions when it opens on July 1. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will gain Harryhausen’s and Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza through Monstropolis, while Disney’s Animal Kingdom will receive the massive Pueblo Esperanza quick-service restaurant.
There are still plenty of details Disney hasn’t announced, particularly menus, prices, and exact opening dates for the theme park locations.
Even so, the picture is becoming clearer. Guests visiting Walt Disney World in 2027 won’t simply have new attractions and areas to explore. They’ll also have six brand-new places to try along the way.
