Disney World Updates September Calendar, Confirms Crucial Passholder Perk
September is already giving Walt Disney World Annual Passholders a little more flexibility when planning their next trip to the parks.
With Halloween season underway and the final stretch of summer giving way to fall, plenty of Passholders may be looking for another opportunity to head back to the resort. For some, the biggest question isn’t necessarily where to go, but how much planning they’ll need to do beforehand.
Disney has now provided an answer for two early dates.
A newly confirmed Passholder benefit will make visiting the theme parks easier during the opening days of September. And considering how Disney handles this particular perk, more opportunities could still arrive before the month ends.
Annual Passes Offer More Than Repeat Visits
Buying a Walt Disney World Annual Pass isn’t only about having admission to the theme parks throughout the year.
Disney regularly offers additional benefits that can help Passholders save money during their visits.
One of those comes through special Walt Disney World Resort hotel rates. Disney periodically releases Passholder-exclusive offers that can reduce the cost of select stays, depending on the dates and promotion.
Dining and shopping can also come with savings.
Annual Passholders receive discounts at participating restaurants and merchandise locations across Walt Disney World. Frequent visitors who regularly eat meals or purchase merchandise during their trips may find those discounts particularly useful over time.
Passholders can also save on certain separately ticketed events. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one example, with discounted tickets available to Passholders for eligible event dates.
Disney occasionally adds other exclusive experiences into the mix.
Limited-time merchandise, special menu items, photo opportunities, and other Passholder offerings can appear throughout the year. Disney has also invited Annual Passholders to preview new and updated attractions before they officially welcome regular guests.
Then there is parking. Annual Passholders receive complimentary standard parking at Walt Disney World’s theme parks, eliminating another potential expense from a park day.
September now brings another useful benefit.
Two Early September Dates Are Official
Walt Disney World has designated September 2 and September 3 as the first Good to Go Days for September 2026.
For eligible Annual Passholders, that means one less thing to arrange before visiting.
Good to Go Days allow Passholders to enter Walt Disney World theme parks without securing a theme park reservation beforehand.
Depending on the date and circumstances, Annual Passholders may otherwise need a reservation to enter. When Disney marks a date as Good to Go, eligible Passholders can skip that requirement.
Passholders still need a valid admission, and any applicable blockout dates remain based on the Annual Pass they hold.
The two September dates continue a run that began at the end of August. August 31 was also designated as a Good to Go Day, meaning Passholders have several opportunities close together as the calendar moves into September.
And Disney may not be finished.
Good to Go Days can be added periodically, rather than Disney releasing an entire month’s schedule far in advance. Passholders should continue checking the calendar, as additional September dates may appear.
That possibility gives frequent visitors another reason to keep their plans flexible.
Halloween Brings Another Passholder Option
Good to Go Days aren’t the only benefit Passholders can take advantage of this September.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is already underway at Magic Kingdom, bringing seasonal entertainment to the park on select evenings.
The separately ticketed event features trick-or-treating, character experiences, Halloween entertainment, attraction offerings, and other seasonal activities during party hours.
Annual Passholders can receive a small ticket discount on eligible party dates.
And for guests who haven’t purchased tickets yet, September isn’t completely off the table.
Based on the availability included in this article, September 24, September 25, September 27, and September 29 remain available.
That leaves several options for Passholders hoping to experience the Halloween event before September ends.
Of course, availability can change as individual nights approach. Guests who already know they want to attend may not want to wait too long to secure their preferred date.
For some Passholders, the remaining availability could also create an opportunity to combine a regular theme park visit with a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party night during the same Walt Disney World trip.
Passholders Have More to Watch This Month
September is beginning with some welcome flexibility for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders.
September 2 and September 3 are officially Good to Go Days, giving eligible Passholders two early opportunities to enter the theme parks without making a reservation in advance.
Those dates follow the August 31 Good to Go Day, and additional September dates could eventually join them.
Combine that flexibility with Passholder resort offers, dining and merchandise discounts, complimentary standard theme park parking, exclusive experiences, attraction previews, and discounts on eligible Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets, and there are several benefits Passholders can use beyond park admission.
For now, September 2 and September 3 are the dates to know.
But with September just beginning, the Passholder calendar remains worth watching.
