9 Decadent Snack Foods at the Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom is one of the best places to snack at the Walt Disney World Resort. While foodies might be more inclined to head to Epcot for some more unique offerings, I really enjoy the classic Disney park offerings available at the Magic Kingdom. If your snack cravings are nostalgic and just thinking about them sends your mind to a certain place in the Magic Kingdom, keep reading on for my picks of decadent snacks.

  1. Fudge

For me, no trip to the Magic Kingdom is complete without stopping in at the Confectionary for fudge. I generally pick up some fudge on my way out of the park to enjoy later that night or the next day. If fudge isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other options at the Confectionary that you’re sure to love. Other favorites of mine include cookies, the Mickey shaped brownie, Mickey rice krispie treats, candy apples decorated to look like various characters, and Main Street Popcorn (the kettle corn and cheddar cheese ones are my favorites!)

  1. Waffle Fries

The Golden Oak Outpost, located in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom, is home to tasty waffle fries. Other menu items at the Outpost include chicken nuggets which go perfectly with the fries and chocolate chip cookies. This is a great place to grab a snack then find a parade viewing spot for the afternoon Festival of Fantasy Parade. Or maybe you’d like the snack below even better…

  1. Turkey Legs

Turkey legs are a classic Disney snack, so it is no surprise that they’d be on a list of the most decadent snack foods in the Magic Kingdom. If you’re looking to get your fill of calories for the day, grab a turkey leg in Frontierland to enjoy during the Festival of Fantasy Parade.

  1. Churros

Churros, which are also conveniently located in Frontierland, right next to the turkey leg cart, are another favorite Disney treat of mine. For whatever reason, I always find myself having churros at night—maybe they just seem more like a dessert to me, with all of the cinnamon and sugar. Whatever your reasoning for needing a churro, don’t forget to stop at the churro cart to get one the next time you’re in Frontierland.

  1. Soft Serve Sundaes

My favorite soft serve sundae in the Magic Kingdom is from Storybook Treats, located in Fantasyland— the strawberry shortcake sundae. If you don’t have a strawberry shortcake obsession like I do, you’ll want to check out the brownie sundae!

  1. Dole Whips

No list of Magic Kingdom snacks would be complete without mentioning Dole whips. I’d recommend getting your Dole whip fix later in the evening, as sometimes the line at Aloha Isle does (surprisingly) die down a little bit later in the day.

  1. Waffle Sandwiches

Sleepy Hollow, in Liberty Square, is home to Nutella waffle sandwiches that are absolutely amazing. My favorite snack from here is the Nutella waffle sandwich with bananas and strawberries. If your brain says lunch but your heart says dessert, this is the place to go. It has the word “sandwich” in the title, which obviously makes it a perfectly balanced meal, right?

  1. Funnel Cake

Funnel cake is another classic Disney snack, that can be found across the Walt Disney World Resort, however Sleepy Hollow is my favorite place to have it. Funnel cakes here can be topped with cinnamon, powdered sugar, strawberries, or ice cream. This is my favorite funnel cake location because of the perfect view of Cinderella Castle. I love stopping by here and getting a table facing the castle to enjoy the view while I eat my funnel cake.

  1. Corn Dog Nuggets

My favorite snack from the Magic Kingdom is without a doubt corn dog nuggets from Casey’s Corner. One order of nuggets is generally enough for two people to share (unless you don’t like to share—which in this case is completely understandable.) Be sure to get some hot cheese dipping sauce on the side. Corn dog nuggets are the perfect midday snack, or pre-afternoon parade while camping out on the curb on Main Street snack.
