We love Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe and find ourselves visiting here quite often. There are a number of reasons for this, and we’re here to share those reasons with you today. Central Location
One of the most awesome things about Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe is its location. As mentioned above, this wonderful quick-service restaurant is located in the Magic Kingdom, but it’s where it is in the theme park that makes its location so wonderful.
You see, the restaurant is just barely in Tomorrowland and is so close to Cinderella Castle it could almost be considered part of the hub. This is excellent because it means it’s easy to grab a quick meal from this counter-service spot no matter where you are in the park. It also makes it a great meeting place for those visiting with a larger group.

Super Fast Service
In addition to being in a prime spot in the theme park, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is also incredibly quick to get your food to you. We’re guessing this is because the dining location gets so busy during mealtimes that the staff is well equipped to handle the crowds and ensure everyone eats in a timely manner. Of course, ordering ahead of time using the mobile ordering option also helps speed things along.
When you’re in a hurry to get from one ride to the next, this awesome speedy service is a major bonus that definitely shouldn’t be overlooked.

Great Value
As if an ideal location and super fast service weren’t enough, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe has yet another thing going for it: excellent prices. The prices at this particular counter-service restaurant are surprisingly affordable (by Walt Disney World standards, anyway).
This is especially true if you choose to order from the kids menu, split a meal, or eat the chili cheese fries as a meal. Honestly though, even the full meals aren’t all that expensive and alothough the toppings bar is not available right now, toppings such as bacon, lettuce, and tomato can be added and make it possible to really stretch those meals. This means you can feed the whole family without breaking the bank.

Good for Picky Eaters
Because we have a couple of picky eaters in our family, we appreciate places that have some solid, classic choices that cater to the pickier palate. Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe hits the nail on the head when it comes to such menu items, offering angus burger options, hot dog choices, chicken strips, and french fries that even the least adventurous eater will enjoy, ensuring everyone in your family eats a good, hearty meal, no matter their preferences.

Yes, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe does a wonderful job of providing meals for picky eaters. That said, those who prefer more interesting foods while dining in Disney World will also find something to order at this counter-service location. This is a large quick-service restaurant, and the people who designed it have managed to fit a whole lot of seating both inside and outside of the restaurant. This means finding a seat is nearly always possible, so you can rest your feet and legs while you enjoy your meal.

Did you know Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is one of the few quick-service restaurants to offer entertainment? It is, and we highly recommend you take advantage of this fact by finding a place to sit where you can enjoy it.
At this restaurant, the entertainment comes in the form of an animatronic alien musician who sings all kinds of stellar tunes throughout your meal. It’s great fun to watch and listen to his show, and is something kids are sure to remember for years to come.
