3 Houses Unveiled for Horror Nights 2026: Universal’s Confirmed Lineup and Speculated Franchises

Universal Orlando Resort has officially started revealing pieces of Halloween Horror Nights 35, and fans are wasting no time trying to figure out what comes next. While Universal has only confirmed a handful of haunted houses so far, the early announcements have already sparked plenty of discussion across the Horror Nights community.

Part of the excitement comes from the fact that several of the confirmed announcements appeared on speculation maps long before Universal made them official. That has many guests wondering whether the remaining rumors might be closer to reality than usual.

Jack and Oddfellow Lead the Way

Universal’s original characters appear to be playing a major role this year.

The biggest original announcement so far is “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control,” which puts two of Halloween Horror Nights’ most recognizable figures in the spotlight. Jack the Clown remains one of the defining faces of the event, while Dr. Oddfellow has become increasingly important in recent years.

Many fans believe their ongoing conflict could help shape the overall story of HHN 35.

That possibility becomes even more interesting when looking at “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares.” The confirmed house appears to share the twisted carnival atmosphere of Jack’s world. Universal has not revealed exactly how everything connects, but the similarities have certainly caught fans’ attention.

Two Major Entertainment Properties Arrive

Alongside the original houses, Universal has also confirmed two high-profile entertainment properties.

“Stranger Things 5” will bring the final season of Netflix’s hit series to Halloween Horror Nights. The franchise has developed a strong history with the event, making its return one of the least surprising announcements of the year.

Universal also confirmed “Sinners.”

The film has quickly become one of horror’s biggest success stories, making it a natural fit for Horror Nights. Its addition gives HHN another recognizable property that fans are eager to experience in a haunted-house setting.

What’s particularly notable is that all four confirmed houses appeared on speculation maps before their official announcements.

Rumored IPs Continue to Generate Buzz

With several rumors already proving accurate, attention has shifted toward the remaining intellectual properties that continue appearing online.

“Hellraiser” remains one of the most discussed possibilities. Fans have wanted to see Pinhead and the Cenobites receive a modern Horror Nights treatment for years.

“Evil Dead Burn” also continues to appear on speculation maps. The Evil Dead franchise already has a long relationship with Horror Nights, making it a believable candidate.

Then, two names have surprised some fans.

Ozzy Osbourne continues to appear in discussions surrounding HHN 35. Whether that would become a music-inspired nightmare house or something else entirely remains unknown.

Lady Gaga has generated a similar conversation. Her elaborate visuals and theatrical style have convinced some fans that she could fit perfectly within a Horror Nights environment.

Original Concepts Remain a Big Part of the Conversation

Original houses have always played an important role at Horror Nights, and this year appears no different.

One recurring rumor involves the return of H.R. Bloodengutz. The fictional filmmaker has deep roots within HHN lore, and many longtime attendees would welcome his return.

“Cowboys vs. Aliens” has also gained attention. The combination of Western settings and extraterrestrial threats could create a unique haunted-house experience.

Other rumors include a zoo-themed house featuring dangerous escaped animals and a band-themed concept centered around music and horror.

Scare Zone Rumors Are Growing Too

The speculation isn’t limited to haunted houses.

Rumors suggest a “Sinners” scare zone could accompany the haunted house. Fans envision performers dancing to music while bringing elements of the film into the streets.

Another frequently discussed possibility involves Fortnite.

The video game’s repeated appearance on speculation maps has raised plenty of eyebrows. While nobody knows exactly what a Fortnite scare zone would look like, Horror Nights has increasingly experimented with different entertainment properties over the years.

Looking Ahead to HHN 35

Halloween Horror Nights 35 is still months away from being fully revealed, but Universal has already created plenty of excitement.

The confirmed lineup gives fans a strong foundation, while speculation maps continue fueling discussions about what could be announced next. Whether those remaining rumors prove accurate remains to be seen. Still, Horror Nights fans will be watching every announcement closely as Universal continues building toward one of the event’s biggest milestone years.
