This particular intersection has handled significant guest traffic since 2019, when Walt Disney World Resort completed construction of a multi-level overpass and interchange there to help ease congestion for visitors traveling to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the ESPN Wide World of Sports, and several nearby Disney Resort hotels.
