10 Best Dressed Disney Characters

Even though Iā€™m a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl, I can still appreciate good fashion when I see it. Disney certainly knows how to dress their characters ā€“ either to make a point, to add to their development, or just to make them look good. Since characters are dressed for so many different, important reasons, there isnā€™t really an order to this list ā€“ simply the ten best dressed I know:

1. Giselle from Enchanted

Come on, she makes her own clothes, people! Giselle makes this list for her craftiness and design skills. She had an awesome wedding dress that unfortunately got destroyed in the real world transfer. So she used Robertā€™s curtains and rugs to make new dresses! And theyā€™re amazing! She even ends up using her gift to open her very own dress shop.

2. Prince Naveen from The Princess and the Frog

Heā€™s just so suave ā€“ the trouble is that he knows it. His style absolutely adds to how handsome he is. Heā€™s well off and his attire shows. Prince Naveen has many different outfits throughout the film ā€“ despite being a frog for most of it. He has his princely uniform, his slightly less formal green top and cape (complete with puff sleeves), his teal wedding suit, and his most casual white rolled sleeves with vest and tie. Very dapper.

3. Cinderella from the Original Classic Version

How could she not be on here, right? Cinderella is famous for her transformation into that dress. When all hope is lost, the Fairy Godmother turns her rags (although once a beautiful dress in its own right) into a spectacular ball gown. This dress (and scene) set the bar for all princess dresses from then on. And letā€™s not forget the glass shoes! Definitely not practical, but fantastically stylish.

4. Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean

Yes, Will is a blacksmith ā€“ rough hands and all that ā€“ but he is also a pirate. And a devilishly well dressed one, at that. Will absolutely has that rugged, devil-may-care thing going. He usually has on some kind of billowing shirt with maybe a fancy vest or coat. Generally he has a cool belt or necklace for decoration. But at the top of Willā€™s best-dressed list is his nice hat he wears at the end of Curse of the Black Pearl.

5. Minnie Mouse

The original fashionista herself! Minnieā€™s iconic look is her signature red and white polka dot dress, but she has branched out over the years. What makes her truly amazing is the impact she has had on the rest of the fashion world. She has stores based on her fashion (check out Tren-D at Disney Springs), invites to prestigious fashion shows, and now even a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Minnie is unstoppable.

6. Miss Piggy

While Minnie is a fashionista, Miss Piggy is a fashion diva. I canā€™t even describe her classic look because she doesnā€™t have one: she has hundreds. Miss Piggy loves Paris and takes most of her inspiration from the classic city. She has made a serious splash in the fashion world, having appeared on Project Runway as a guest judge and a guest cohost on E! Fashion Police.

7. Madame from Aristocats

This woman exudes grace. Madame sits at the top of the social ladder, being a French aristocrat and all. And her attire always, always, always reflects that. In every scene of the movie, she is impeccably dressed ā€“ even her pajamas are fancy. Iā€™d love to just see what her closet looks likeā€¦or at least borrow that hat sometime!

8. King Peter from The Chronicles of Narnia

While looking good was the absolute last thing on King Peterā€™s mind, he still pulled it off. Peter Pevensie had a lot going in the Narnia series. You donā€™t really notice it as you watch, but he has a ton of different costumes ā€“ all of which are completely gorgeous. From that classic fur coat from the wardrobe, to his leather everyday garb, to his battle armor (complete with Aslan emblem), and finally his royal attire. No matter what he wears, he looks like a magnificent king.

9. Elsa from Frozen

Can we talk about the ice dress? Now, first of all, I even love Elsaā€™s coronation dress. I love the colors and the cape. But her real fashion success is the dress she changes into during Let it Go. Itā€™s elegant and subtle, while still being fierce. Itā€™s even more impressive when you realize that she must have made it herself! It truly reflects a perfect girl whoā€™s gone.

10. Prince Kit from the live-action Cinderella

I love Kit. And I also love his style! His color scheme never changes dramatically, but certainly more so than the original Prince Charming! Kit is always in blues or greens, which make his eyes totally pop. When he first meets Ella, heā€™s in his green riding suit, which is incredibly regal. But his outfits only get more so as the movie goes in. He steps into his role as King even through his wardrobe.
