Not only can you find a number of beautiful sit-down spots in Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios, but some of the most amazing spots lay inside Disney hotels. One of the most popular dining locations is California Grill, which sits on the top floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

California Grill offers Guests modern California cuisine, as well as gorgeous views of Seven Seas Lagoon, along with a perfect spot to watch the fireworks that shoot off from Magic Kingdom Park each night. The restaurant is currently offering a price-fixed menu as they participate in the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration — which will run until March. Guests will be able to choose from one appetizer, one entrée, and one dessert.
Alcohol is not included in the fixed price, and one specialty drink offering will set you back $137. The California Grill Signature Cocktail, which is described as:
This Ultra-Premium Cocoktail pairing partners a traditional Champagne Cocktail with Rémy Martin Louis XIII, which takes four generations of Cellar Masters to create
Rémy Martin Louis XIII is an exceptionally high-end Cognac created by the Rémy Martin family when they moved to the Cognac region of France during the reign of Louis XIII. Since this is an indulgent drink, it is not simply brought to your table by your waiter. A sommelier brings your Champagne Cocktail over, along with the bottle of Remy Martin. He presents the bottle and tells you the story behind it before he pours one ounce of the Cognac into a separate glass.
Now, $137 may seem like a lot for this cocktail — and it is. However, if you look at the California Grill drink menu, you will see that a one-ounce pour of Rémy Martin Louis XIII by itself will set you back $175. So, if you look at it that way, you are getting quite a bargain for the cocktail since it also comes with a nearly full flute of champagne.
While this drink may not be something that you will purchase on a regular basis, it is definitely something you can consider if you are celebrating a special event at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Would you ever spend $137 on one drink?
