What to Eat at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

It’s that time of the year! The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is about to begin in the Walt Disney World Resort. This year, Disney has outdone themselves with an incredible selection of tasty treats sure to impress any Disney foodie.

Flower & Garden Festival Brings the Food!

From March 1 to July 5, EPCOT will be the transformed with flowers and delicious foods. This year, Walt Disney World has pulled out all the stops on their dining options for the festival. 15 Outdoor Kitchens will be calling EPCOT home this spring. The array of tasty treats and gormet meals this year are truly next level. Fans of the festival will be overjoyed to see the return of some favorite treats like the Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake from The Honey Bee-stro and the Boneless IMPOSSIBLE Korean Short Rib at Trowel & Trellis. There will also be almost 50 new dishes to try!

EPCOT Menu Highlights

There are so many menu items to try, but some of them stand out as being particularly exciting.

For those visiting March 1 through April 8, there are incredible treats like the Char-grilled Bison Ribeye, which will come with a creamy leek fondue, red wine butter sauce and whipped red wine goat cheese. For desert, try the Spice Cake with cream cheese icing that comes topped with candiest pecans and parsnip.

For those visiting April 9 through May 20, try the Grilled Swordfish with crushed fingerling potatoes, pea and mint purée, grilled asparagus, and lemon beurre Blanc. For desert, the unique Strawberry Rhubarb Upside-down Cake with crème fraîche whipped cream looks incredible.

In the mood for brunch? The festival has you covered. They will be offering staples like avocado toast and Shrimp and Grits, which is Blackened shrimp and cheddar cheese grits with brown gravy and sweet corn salsa. Something unique coming is the Lox Benedict on Everything Focaccia with everything-spiced cream cheese, shallots, crispy capers, and hollandaise. For a sweet breakfast treat, they also will have Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with cream cheese frosting and candied bacon.

Drinks and Merchandise

If you are looking to cool off with a drink, the festival will feature plenty of alcholoic options. An assortment of beers and cocktails will be served through the festival. If you want to skip the alcohol, you can opt for a orange-lemon smoothie that will be served in an adorable Orange Bird souvenir sippy-cup!

For all the Orange Bird lovers out there, EPCOT will also be offering some adorable Disney Munchlings of a Citris-infused Cupcake Orange Bird with Honey Disney Munchling.

This year’s festival at EPCOT is looking to be absolutely incredible. We can’t wait to try all of these treats in person starting March 1.
