Move Over EPCOT! There’s a BETTER Food & Wine Festival on Disney Property

Chances are, when we mention a Food and Wine Festival, Disney fans will immediately think of Walt Disney World Resort’s EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.

But, what some of the Disney fandom doesn’t know is that there is actually another Food and Wine Festival on Disney property. And, shhh…. we personally prefer it over EPCOT’s.

Don’t get us wrong, we enjoy the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. The experience of traveling around EPCOT’s World Showcase to enjoy multiple bites and sips with an array of flavors is fantastic. The event for 2022 was a whopping 128 days long (July 14 to November 19, 2022).

While we partake in the EPCOT Festival year after year, sometimes the crowds, long lines for purchasing food and beverages, and the lengthy duration of the event make it lose its hype.

Thankfully, for those of us that are looking for something different, just STEPS away from EPCOT, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort Hotel offers it’s very own Food and Wine Classic!

Most people are unaware that the Swan and Dolphin’s Food and Wine Classic is in its 13th year, but as it grows in popularity, the Disney fandom is quickly catching on. With a single weekend in November, the event this year was INCREDIBLE in all the best ways possible.

The Food and Wine Classic is located along the waterfront causeway of Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. The spread of food and beverage stations with award-winning Chef offerings is vast, with a variety of options for all Guests to enjoy.

Not only is the music entertainment and fireworks views paramount, but, of course, fine wine, beer, and spirits are flowing… quite literally, as you’ll see in the video below!

While the event is open to the general public without hotel reservations, we highly recommend making a weekend visit to the Food and Wine Classic. Book a stunning room at the Swan Reserve, Swan Hotel, or Dolphin Hotel for easy access to come and go as you please from the evening event.

The Food and Wine Classic for 2022 was held November 11 and 12 from 5:30-9:00 pm each day. One-day tickets cost $165 per person.

The best part… one ticket price allows for ALL the food and beverage your heart can desire. That’s right, UNLIMITED TASTINGS! We must say, it is a great way to save the budget when compared to the amount of money spent traveling through EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival.

While dates have yet to be released for the 2023 Food and Wine Classic, we suggest preparing next year’s calendar to attend this unique experience. We will be sure to share the 2023 dates as soon as they are released!
