Walt Disney himself was obsessed with progress. He was always pushing forward, onward, and upwards, looking for a way to improve what already existed. So, it stands to reason that Walt Disney World continues his legacy and pushes forward, always striving for more.
That’s why it’ll come as no surprise to hear that Walt Disney World Resort has a few new attractions up its sleeve.
One upcoming attraction, in particular, is opening later this year. So, we’re not surprised to hear new developments!
According to a report by Inside the Magic, Journey of Water Inspired By Moana will begin previewing for Cast Members later this month. Reportedly, these Cast Member previews will run until mid-August.
The report also states that Walt Disney Imagineering had already begun testing the Moana attraction before these Cast Member previews begin.
It’s not uncommon for Walt Disney World Resort to hold previews for Annual Passholders, but at this time, there has been little word about Annual Passholders getting a preview for Journey of Water Inspired By Moana.
That being said, Disney Dining will happily report the news once Walt Disney World Annual Passholder previews begin.
EPCOT’s Journey of Water Inspired By Moana attraction will debut in the Disney Park’s World Nature neighborhood.
Considering that this area of the theme park is dedicated entirely to the appreciation, conservation, and beauty of the natural world, we can think of no better place for this upcoming attraction.
This self-guided outdoor tour harkens back to EPCOT’s educational roots, teaching Guests about the water cycle in an interactive, entertaining way.
