Over in Walt Disney World, the EPCOT theme park is preparing to welcome an all-new experience: Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. In fact, the attraction is so close to officially opening that Annual Passholder Previews begin later this month.
Not only that, but Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort are both in the process of dismantling the defunct Splash Mountain attractions and retheming them into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
But in Disneyland Park, another attraction will be opening way sooner. We’re talking, of course, about the Swiss Family Treehouse.

The Swiss Family Treehouse is one of the most classic attractions that can be found in both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park. But in 1999, Disneyland’s version of this Adventureland attraction was closed and rethemed into Tarzan’s Treehouse, inspired by Tarzan (1999).
It remained Tarzan’s Treehouse for decades, until 2021, when the attraction was closed again. At the time, the Walt Disney Company confirmed that it would reopen with a new theme, but nobody knew what it would be.

Now, we know that this attraction is reopening as the Adventureland Treehouse. Although the name is different, the Adventureland Treehouse is similarly inspired by Swiss Family Robinson (1960), just like the original attraction.
At this point in time, we don’t have a specific opening date. But we do know that this attraction will finally open to guests this fall.
