It’s not just Walt Disney World Resort that is getting out of control, it’s happening at Universal Orlando Resort, too.
Universal Orlando is a popular theme park home to two world-class theme parks: Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Each Universal Orlando park offers a distinct atmosphere and many attractions that cater to guests’ wide range of interests.
Universal Studios Florida takes guests on a journey through the magic of cinema, where they can step into the scenes of their favorite movies and TV shows.
From the iconic Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where guests can stroll through the streets of Diagon Alley, or feel the thrill from the adrenaline-pumping rides like Transformers: The Ride 3D and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, this park delivers thrills and excitement at every turn.
Meanwhile, across the water at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, guests are transported to lands where Universal guests can embark on epic adventures. Whether it’s soaring through the skies with Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, braving the twists and turns of The Incredible Hulk Coaster, or exploring the prehistoric world of Jurassic Park River Adventure.
But Universal Orlando isn’t just about rides and attractions. Guests head to Universal during the year to experience different events. One of the most anticipated events at Universal Orlando is Halloween Horror Nights. Every fall, Universal Studios Florida transforms into a realm of terror, with haunted houses, scare zones, and live entertainment that bring nightmares to life.
Another popular event that is less frightening is Grinchmas, which happens during the Holiday season. This event allows guests to join in with the Whos and the Grinch himself with shows, meet and greets, and much more.
While Universal hosts many more events, guests who attend Mardi Gras at Universal always seem to have a blast. Mardi Gras is filled with foods, beads, parades, and much more. Passholders can sign up to ride on the floats and toss beads to the crowds. However, a limited number of pass holders are allowed to join the float.
In a viral TikTok, One Universal Orlando guest dressed up in a green tuxedo, white boots, and a green top hat and joined the parade. During the TikTok, the guest was seen dancing alongside Universal Orlando Resort performers, drawing attention from onlookers who remarked on his unanticipated participation.
As the guest mimicked some of the performers’ moves, a parade technician or possibly Univeral security personnel approached. When this guest spotted them, he already knew he had been caught. And hurried to vacate the parade route.
@dadgotparks Gotta love St Patty’s at Universal Studios! #mardisgrasparade #stpattys #uinversalstudios
While we are unsure if this guest was banned from the parks, pulling a stunt like this could seriously hurt Universal Orlando Resort performers or bystanders. When watching a Universal parade, guests should remain on the ropes during the performance for the safety of Team Members and guests.
What do you think of this stunt? Should this guest be banned from the parks?
