Guests at Universal Orlando Resort recently had to be evacuated following an incident that occurred at a popular attraction.
Universal Orlando is a popular tourist location seeing thousands of Guests daily. With this amount of Guests, attractions break down, have errors, and delays can occur while at Universal.
Universal Orlando is no stranger to changing attractions. Universal Studios Orlando recently removed the former Woody Woodpecker Kidzone Area to make way for new attractions. In addition, Universal Studios Florida will soon open a new Minions-themed attraction called Villain-Con Minion Bast. Universal Orlando is also in the process of building a third theme park ,called Epic Universe. With all of these changes coming, sad farewells have to happen.
The longstanding attraction, Poseidon’s Fury, is coming to an end. While we are still determining what will take this attraction’s place, Guests have speculated, thinking it will be an addition to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Poseidon’s Fury at Universal Orlando is a unique and thrilling experience that takes Guests on a journey through the mythical world of the Greek god of the sea, Poseidon. The attraction combines live actors, special effects, and cutting-edge technology to create an immersive experience that is unlike anything else at the park.
The main show takes place in a massive amphitheater that has been designed to look like the ancient ruins of Atlantis. As the show begins, Guests are surrounded by waterfalls, flames, and other special effects that transport them to another world. Suddenly, the villainous Lord Darkenon appears, and the audience is plunged into darkness.
Sadly Poseidon’s Fury will close permanently on May 10. Lately, this attraction has been a popular location Universal has been selling out of the farewell shirts and ParkTwister tweeted about Guests having to be evacuated out of Posedion’s Fury due to the fire alarm going off.
