Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort have been deadlocked in a close competition for years now. Whether you prefer Disney’s family-friendly atmosphere or Universal’s thrills and chills, it cannot be denied that both companies have mastered theme park immersion.
Between the one-of-a-kind magic of Walt Disney World Resort and the attention to detail of Universal Orlando Resort theme parks, both companies are capable of transporting Guests into another world for a day.
However, Guests visiting Universal Studios and Walt Disney World were truly living in a science fiction movie recently due to a reported UFO sighting!

This isn’t the first time Guests have claimed to see a UFO over Disney. Previously, many Guests have claimed to spot UFOs over Disneyland specifically due to a ring of smoke often produced due to Disneyland Park’s Wondrous Journeys Nighttime Spectacular.
But this UFO sighting was no fireworks show, nor was it a helicopter. That being said, it wasn’t flying saucers either!

There’s no need to jump to conclusions or immediately think it’s the work of aliens! Furthermore, it’s worth noting that SpaceX launched an aircraft from the Kennedy Space Center on the same evening, which is just a little over an hour away from Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort.
While SpaceX didn’t confirm whether the aircraft would be visible from the theme park area in Central Florida, it certainly seems like too much of a coincidence to assume otherwise.
Despite the speculation, nobody knows what the UFO really was at this time.
