When it comes to visiting Walt Disney World, every fan knows that Magic Kingdom is the theme park with the quintessential attractions. However, fans currently visiting the Disney Park will be disappointed to see that two classic attractions are currently down!

The Magic Kingdom Park is home to six different themed neighborhoods, each with its own signature attractions.
Main Street, U.S.A., is a great spot to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Adventureland is home to the Enchanted Tiki Room and Jungle Cruise, Frontierland is home to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Liberty Square has the Haunted Mansion, Fantasyland offers “it’s a small world,” and Tomorrowland offers Space Mountain.
These are considered some of the most classic Disney rides, but two of them are currently listed as ‘Temporarily Closed’ in the Walt Disney World mobile app.

In Adventureland, the Jungle Cruise ride is currently down. This ride is a slow-moving tour of an exotic river, where Guests come face-to-face with animatronic animals and corny jokes. It’s a fan-favorite among Guests!

Over in Tomorrowland, the Space Mountain ride is also down. This thrilling coaster takes place entirely in the dark, taking Guests on tour through the galaxy. This roller coaster has been a fan-favorite since its debut in Disneyland Park.
At the time of this article’s publication, both Jungle Cruise and Space Mountain are still closed. That being said, each ride is decades old. That’s more than enough time for wear and tear to accumulate!

It’s not uncommon for older rides to experience technical difficulties. Another example is Frontierland’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which is constantly listed as ‘Temporarily Closed’ on the Disney World mobile app.
In the case of the Jungle Cruise and Space Mountain, we’re sure that they will both be up and running soon enough!
