Animal Kingdom offers live entertainment featuring animal participants, such as Winged Encounters – The Kingdom Takes Flight and Feathered Friends in Flight!
There are also live shows full of singing and dancing, such as Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond!

But it isn’t all live entertainment, the Disney Park also has traditional theme park attractions! Animal Kingdom’s signature attraction merges animal education and traditional theme park rides. We’re talking, of course, about Kilimanjaro Safaris.
Kilimanjaro Safaris takes Guests onto the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. At this attraction, Guests can observe elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and more from an open-aired ride vehicle.

However, Kilimanjaro Safaris is currently listed as ‘Temporarily Closed’ on the Walt Disney World mobile app!
It’s not uncommon for attractions to face technical difficulties. That being said, it’s more worrying when Kilimanjaro Safaris is closed because the attraction consists of live animals, not animatronics.
