EPCOT’s spring calendar is starting to fill up, and Walt Disney World has now given guests a much clearer idea of what will await them in 2027.
The latest update stretches across nearly three months and brings several familiar experiences back into the conversation. While Disney is still holding onto some of the biggest specifics for later, there is already enough information to start seeing how a major part of EPCOT‘s 2027 schedule will come together.
More announcements are still ahead, but four familiar experiences are already giving guests an early look at what they can expect once spring arrives.
New Spring Experiences Are On the Way!
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will run from March 10 through May 31, 2027, giving guests nearly three months to experience the annual event.
Each year, the festival brings a distinctly spring atmosphere to EPCOT. Gardens and elaborate character topiaries appear around the park, while seasonal dishes, drinks, activities, and live entertainment add even more to the experience.
The festival is included with valid EPCOT admission. Depending on the ticket guests use, a theme park reservation may also be required.
Disney hasn’t released the complete 2027 lineup yet. Its current information still points to several offerings from the 2026 festival and warns that experiences may change. Even so, guests can already get a good idea of several familiar parts of the festival experience they can expect next spring.
An Experience for the Whole Family
For guests who want to do more than admire the flowers, Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration offers an interactive way to experience the festival.
Guests can expect the scavenger hunt to once again send them searching around EPCOT for Spike the Bee. The activity follows Spike on his pollen-collecting journey, encouraging guests to pay closer attention to gardens and other locations throughout the park.
It’s a particularly different way for families to explore the festival, rather than simply moving from one attraction or food spot to another.
Disney still has details to announce about the 2027 version, including pricing and whether anything about the process will differ from the previous year.
Seasonal Flavors Will Fill EPCOT
Spring at EPCOT also means plenty of limited-time food and drinks.
Outdoor Kitchens will give guests opportunities to sample smaller dishes and beverages during the festival. These seasonal locations traditionally draw inspiration from spring ingredients and flavors from around the world.
Disney hasn’t released the 2027 menus yet, meaning guests will have to wait longer to see exactly what’s being served.
During the 2026 festival, options included Trowel & Trellis, BRUNCHCOT, La Isla Fresca, Hanami, and Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market. Those previous offerings shouldn’t be treated as the 2027 lineup, however, since Disney notes that festival offerings can change.
More information about next year’s Outdoor Kitchens is expected in early spring.
Disney Characters Take on a Different Look
Food may draw plenty of attention, but the gardens and topiaries remain among the festival’s most recognizable features.
Guests can expect colorful gardens and plant-based Disney character creations to once again help transform EPCOT for spring.
These displays turn familiar characters into detailed living sculptures, while other gardens add flowers and horticultural elements throughout the park.
Exactly which characters guests will encounter remains unknown. Disney hasn’t revealed the complete 2027 topiary lineup yet, so there are still surprises that could be announced before March.
That leaves another piece of the festival lineup to watch as spring gets closer.
Live Entertainment Returns to the Stage
The Garden Rocks Concert Series gives guests a chance to add live music to their EPCOT day.
Performances will return to America Gardens Theatre during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. In previous years, the series has featured nationally known musicians alongside other performers.
Disney hasn’t announced which artists will perform in 2027. More information about the upcoming lineup is expected this winter.
Garden Rocks Dining Packages are returning as well. Guests who purchase one of these packages receive a meal at a participating EPCOT restaurant along with guaranteed seating for a Garden Rocks performance on the same day.
That can give visitors another way to build the concert series into an already busy festival day.
More EPCOT Announcements Are Still Ahead
Disney may be holding back plenty of specifics, but spring 2027 at EPCOT is already coming into focus.
