Want to Ride Tron Before It Opens? Now is Your Chance!

Tron is finally opening after 5 long awaited years. As always, when Disney opens a new ride, they offer the experience first to Cast and then to Passholders before the official opening day. This is no exception. It is just one small way that Disney shows its appreciation to the ones who make the magic and to their most loyal. Cast Member previews are already underway and Disney World Annual Passholders have been eagerly awaiting their turn.

The day is finally here!!!! Passholder previews of Tron are registering soon! These previews are exciting because that means opening day is getting close! Fans have been waiting to step into the grid for five years! The construction suffered delays due to the Pandemic and financial woes due to the closure (though by 2020, it had already been under construction for about a year). The ride promises to be well worth the wait, though.

Emails went out earlier this morning for Passholder preview registration which will begin on February 16th. Passholders will review an additional email when registration opens that will include a link to make a reservation to ride Disney’s newest (and fastest) roller coaster.

Many Passholders were upset because the rumor mill was saying  that previews would not be offered this time. They were doubly upset when they discovered that most Annual pass levels were blocked out during the ride’s opening date (April 4, 2023). However, once again, the rumor mill turned out to be nothing  but pot stirring. All levels of Disney World Annual Passes will be eligible to book a preview of Tron: Lightcycle/Run  before it opens to the public!

Passholders, keep an eye on your email (now would be a good time to double check your email preferences from Disney on your MyDisneyExperience app) because spaces will be limited and guaranteed to fill up fast!
