Three Iconic Fantasyland Rides Are Now Closed Through the End of the Month

When you think of Disney Parks, odds are one of the first things you think of is Fantasyland. The rides are iconic. From “it’s a small world ” to Peter Pan’s Flight, everyone knows Fantasyland. When these rides close, it’s extremely disappointing. Despite the disappointment, though, sometimes rides need to close to make way for others or for necessary repairs.

Three iconic Fantasyland attractions are closed as of today and will remain closed for the next several days. We reported their closures when they were announced but it is something you’ll want to keep in mind if you’re planning to visit Disneyland in the coming weeks. So as a reminder, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Alice in Wonderland all closed today for maintenance.

With Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Alice in Wonderland all closed, Fantasylandwill see increased lines because there are fewer rides to help spread out crowds. This is bad news for anyone with their heart set on experiencing Disneyland’s most iconic rides but especially disappointing for Disney World fans who are planning a visit to Disneyland Park. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride has been closed at Walt Disney World since 1998 and was beloved by many. To go to Disneyland and not get to experience this Disney staple would be a disappointment.

The rides are closing while maintenance is done on their shared building. The rides do have reopening dates so the closure is not indefinite as often happens in Disney Parks. It’s nice to know when to expect these fan favorites to be back up and running. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and Alice in Wonderland will reopen on June 15 while Peter Pan’s Flight will reopen on June 29.

Do take note though that Alice in Wonderland will close again on July 5 with no reopening date announced. No information has been given for why Alice in Wonderland will be closing again so soon after reopening but our guess is that the ride is due for some scheduled maintenance. It will.close along with the monorail and Soarin’ Around the World.
