This news may massively affect your upcoming Disney trip…
Right now, both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort are undergoing some pretty massive renovations. These theme Parks have both been open for a significant amount of time, and they both deal with a large amount of wear and tear daily. When you think about it, many of these rides have been running from the early morning until late at night for decades on end. The only time that Disney Imagineers and Cast Members can service the ride is late at night.
However, overnight maintenance can only do so much for the long-term maintenance of these rides. Mose serious regular refurbishments are needed. For three Fantasyland rides, a refurbishment will be coming very soon.
Fantasyland Loses Three Rides
If you plan to visit Disneyland Resort this summer, you will not be able to ride all of the rides that you may have been expecting. Starting June 5, 2023, Peter Pan’s Flight, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and Alice in Wonderland will all close for renovations at Disneyland Park. These ideas actually all share the same show building, which is why they will be closed for renovations together.
Peter Pan’s Flight is one of the oldest rides at Disneyland Park. It first opened in 1955, and it has been a favorite among Guests ever since. The ride takes Guests on a journey through the story of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys as they soar over London and Neverland. The reopening date for Peter Pan’s Flight is scheduled for June 30, just in time for Guests to enjoy it as part of their summer vacation plans.
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is another classic ride that has been a staple at Disneyland Park since 1955. The ride is based on the story of Mr. Toad from The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame. It takes Guests on a wild and whimsical journey through Toad Hall and beyond. The reopening date for Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is also set for June 16.
The final ride is Alice in Wonderland, another beloved attraction. This ride takes Guests on a journey through Wonderland as they encounter the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, and the Queen of Hearts. The reopening date for Alice in Wonderland is set for June 16.
Update: Starting June 5, Peter Pan’s Flight, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and Alice in Wonderland at Disneyland Park will be closed for routine maintenance on a shared building. Reopening dates:

The Magic Returns Mid-Late June
While some Guests may have to miss out on their favorite attractions, it is great to know that the closures will not last too long. Before you know it, these three iconic attractions will be back and better than ever.
