It may be summer, but it’s never too early to think about the spookiest time of the year — Halloween! Halloween is always an exciting time to visit Disneyland Resort. There are fun, themed, and spicy Halloween eats and treats. Bats, pumpkins, and jack-o-lanterns decorate all corners of the Resort, the Dapper Dans at Disneyland Park break out their Halloween best and sing fun, and creepy songs, and fireworks is shown on . Also, on select nights, Disney California Adventure Park transforms to host the ultimate Halloween Party — Oogie Boogie Bash.
Oogie Boogie Bash first started at Disney California Adventure Park in 2019 and Guests loved it. The hard-ticketed event featured interactive treat trails, a Villains Grove, a dance party, the Frightfully Fun parade, and more. Guests also loved being able to dress up in costumes to look like their favorite Disney characters. Sadly, the party had to be canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic, but it returned in 2021, and it looks like the Disney Halloween Party is even more popular this year!
Tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash went on sale to the general public on June 30 and are already sold out! Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort website to look into Oogie Boogie Bash were greeted with the following message.
Tickets for this event are sold out, but there is still plenty of spooky fun to be had during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Enjoy spirited touches throughout the parks, ride Haunted Mansion Holiday and step on over to Cars Land for Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree.
Now, if you were hoping to purchase tickets to the Halloween party this year, all hope is not lost. While the Disney Park event is sold out right now, Disney may decide to drop more tickets at a future date. That has happened in the past. If you are set on going, then we recommend frequently checking back to see if more tickets have become available. Just note that, if Disney does make more tickets available, it may not be for every night of the Bash, so the dates you have to choose from could be limited.
Halloween time at Disneyland Resort begins this year on September 2 and runs through Halloween. The festivities will not just be in the Parks, either! Those who head down to The Happiest Place on Earth to spend time at the Downtown Disney District will also be able to experience the spookiness with specialty eats and decorations. Disney Halloween merchandise will also be for sale in World of Disney, and fun Halloween treats can be purchased at Marceline’s Confectionery.
