Okay, so that may be the opening to the Haunted Mansion, but there is one time of year when the 999 happy haunts come out of the mansion and make themselves at home all over Disneyland Resort. That’s right, we are talking about the spookiest time of the year — Halloween time! Halloween time at Disneyland Resort is one of the best times to be there. From the incredible decorations to attraction overlays, Halloween Screams fireworks, and specialty food, there is so much to experience. There is also an incredibly popular hard-ticketed event — Oogie Boogie Bash.

Oogie Boogie Bash was first introduced to Disneyland Resort and was an immediate hit with Guests. Taking place at Disney California Adventure Park, the Halloween Party includes interactive trick-or-treat trails, a special World of Color, rare character sightings, a Frightfully Fun Parade, Villains Grove, and great merchandise. Oogie Boogie Bash had to be canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, but the party returned in 2021 better than ever. Tickets ended up selling out for all of the available nights, and Disney quickly got to work on planning for 2022.

We are already halfway through the year, and Halloween time will be here before we know it. So now, Disney is sharing more details on Halloween and Oogie Boogie Bash, like when you can buy tickets! Ticket availability will be based on what kind of ticket purchaser you are — a Magic Key Holder, a D23 Member, or a general ticket holder.
Below are the following dates and types of tickets available.
Magic Key Holders / D23 Members (for special D23 party night)
- June 28 — no earlier than 9 a.m. Pacific Time
General Ticket Holders / D23 Members (all other party nights)
- June 30 — no earlier than 9 a.m. Pacific Time

It is important for D23 Members to note that there will be two separate purchase dates. For this year, D23 Members will actually have a special party night at the Disney Park due to the D23 Expo taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center. The D23 Member party night will be Saturday, September 10. If you are a D23 Member who would like to attend a different event night, you can purchase your tickets on June 30.

Tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash will start at $129 per Guest. Tickets will be more expensive depending on which day your Oogie Boogie Bash party is. Oogie Boogie Bash tickets will allow Guests to get into early, but they can also enjoy Halloween fun in the beforehand. Access to Disneyland Park before the event will only be available if you have a separate valid theme park and reservation.
