This brand-new exhibit promises to be different than any of the Harry Potter-themed experiences you’ve had in the past. Visitors can expect “beloved authentic props and costumes” while enjoying “innovative, awe-inspiring, and magical environments and installations.” The level of technology and attention to detail allows for a “highly personalized” adventure.
There will be dementors, The Forbidden Forest, and even more new galleries not available in other Harry Potter experiences. Time Out acknowledges the exhibition is an effort from Imagine Exhibitions in partnership with Warner Brothers, guaranteeing authenticity.
According to Harry Potter: The Exhibition‘s FAQ page, the journey usually lasts about 60-90 minutes, depending on Guests’ exploration and self-guided decisions. Of course, a gift shop sells merchandise exclusive to the exhibit, but it will also have some familiar favorites. Think Chocolate Frogs and Butterbeer! Wands are happily permitted inside the venue.
Harry Potter: The Exhibition is coming to New York City this summer after a popular engagement in Atlanta, GA. Internationally, the exhibition previously visited Vienna, Austria, and will debut in Paris, France, this month.
