At Seuss Landing the garland is hung and the tinsel is flung. The lights are shining brightly and all of the Who’s are waiting politely for that one special Who who is the Whoeist of them all, no not Santa… it’s the Grinch who’s come to call! He’s back and it’s just in time…I can’t seem to quit speaking in rhyme!

Ok, ok I’ll stop. Grinchmas is back at Universal’s Islands of Adventure and our favorite Christmas thief is back along with it! The Grinch is available for meet and greets all season long (until January 1) and this year he is in a brand new location! Ready to meet the green man yourself? In years past he’s met guests at All the Books You Can Read but this year he’s got something a little sweeter in store. You’ll find him in Seuss Landing at Honk Honkers, the former site of a candy store that closed its doors forever in 2020.

The store has been magnificently transformed into the Grinch’s lair on the top of Mt. Crumpet. Once you step inside you’ll find the Grinch dressed in his classic Santa outfit and though his heart may have grown 3 sizes, he’s still as witting and biting as ever. You’ll get brutal honesty and sarcasm from this unlikely bastion of Christmas cheer.

If you’re looking for something to extend the fun a bit longer, back this year is the Grinch and Friends Character breakfast at Circus McGurkus! At $41.99 (plus tax) for adults and $26.99 (plus tax) for children this Who-liday meal is the best way to celebrate the season without breaking the bank! After a long hiatus due to the pandemic and we can’t wait to sink our teeth into some green eggs and ham!

About Jill Bivins

Jill Bivins has been visiting Disney Parks since she was 2 years old and loves sharing her Disney adventures with the world. She likes to say Disney is in her blood and writing is in her bones — so any time she has the opportunity to combine these loves she is one happy camper! She has a deep abiding love for Epcot and as a die hard Star Wars fan has a serious love for Hollywood Studios as well. When she isn't exploring or writing about Disney Parks, Jill is homeschooling her 8 year old son, playing with her brand new baby son, or pretending to be a farmer on her family homestead (despite being unable to keep even a cactus alive).
