North African-spiced Tofu – Tiffins Restaurant

Tiffins Restaurant on Discovery Island in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is open for lunch and dinner each day and invites Guests to dine on cuisine inspired by flavors from around the world. The table service restaurant focuses on the adventure of travel, and beautiful art work, artifacts, and items that Imagineers collected from around the world are on display in brightly colored rooms.

Tiffins Bread Service – Nomad Lounge

Attached to Tiffins Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Nomad Lounge, a table service lounge location where Guests can continue to enjoy small plates of international flavors and cuisine in a stunning setting. Nomad Lounge features an indoor dining area with a bar and comfortable seating as well as a large wrap-around outdoor deck that features relaxing seating and views of both the river below and busy pathway that connects Discovery Island and Pandora – The World of Avatar.

The restaurant is themed to feel like a location run by a local who transformed his home with artifacts, art work, and items collected from travels throughout Southeast Asia, and Guests who dine throughout the two floors can enjoy an extensive menu of pan-Asian items.

The lunch and dinner menus at Yak & yeti Restaurant are the same, and there are many options for Guests to choose from ranging from small plates to wok and grilled items. The best item on the menu for value is the Chop Chop Chicken Salad which features a bed of chopped romaine lettuce topped with red and Napa cabbage, carrots, marinated grilled chicken, a miso sesame dressing, and crispy wontons. The Chop Chop Chicken Salad is a light and refreshing option that will also fill Guests up before continuing to explore Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Forest Combo & Ancient Grain Bowl – Rainforest Café at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The final table service location in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the Rainforest Café which is technically located just outside of the main entrance of the Disney Park. The table service location is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and features a vibrant dining area with animatronic animals and lush greenery to make Guests feel as though they are dining in the middle of the rainforest.

The breakfast menu at Disney’s Rainforest Café is relatively short and features classic options as well as one Fun-Sized Adventures option that is a great value. The Forest Combo features classic oatmeal with brown sugar, seasonal fruit, and toast for a healthy and hearty start to any day in the Disney Park.

The lunch and dinner menus at the Rainforest Café at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are identical and very lengthy, with an array of American favorites including one meal that offers up a great value. The Ancient Grain Bowl features a base of ancient grains that are topped with roasted vegetables, a citrus vinaigrette, crispy-fried kale and pico de gallo for a filling and healthy meal that has great texture and flavors. Guests can also opt to add chicken or shrimp to their Ancient Grain Bowl for an additional fee.
