Animals at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort
At Disney World and Walt Disney World Resort, service animals are welcomed with open arms. From the iconic Magic Kingdom to the bustling Disney Springs, service animals are allowed in almost all areas of the parks, including attractions, restaurants, and shops. For many Guests, service animals are the only way that they can enjoy a vacation at Disney Parks in a safe way.
Usually, when you think of service animals, the animal that comes to mind is a dog. Service dogs are welcome at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, but many fans will be surprised to know that that is not the only animal allowed.
Service Horses Allowed at Disney Parks
According to the Walt Disney World website, dogs or miniature horses are allowed inside the Parks. Their statement reads;
“At Walt Disney World Resort, a service animal is a dog or miniature horse that is trained to do work or perform tasks for, and to assist, an individual with a disability.”
Furthermore, service miniature horses and dogs are allowed on a plethora of rides as well. Even though it is not common to see miniature horses in the Parks, it is wild to know that that is an option that is totally allowed.
