SPOTTED: The Stars of Disney’s New ‘Haunted Mansion’ Take a Trip to a Disney Park
Things are getting extra spooky at one Disney Park!
Disney fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming release of the new Haunted Mansion movie, a live-action film based on the classic theme park attraction. The film is set to hit theaters on July 28th and stars a star-studded cast, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Rosario Dawson, Owen Wilson, Tiffany Haddish, Jared Leto, Lakeith Stanfield, and more.
The Haunted Mansion movie follows a group of Guests who visit the mansion and discover its supernatural secrets. This movie has a large group of supporters already due to the popularity of the Haunted Mansion ride.
Haunted Mansion: A Disney Landmark
For many fans, no trip to a Disney Park is complete without visiting the Haunted Mansion. The ride opened in Disneyland Park on August 9, 1969. Since then, fans have felt entranced by the incredible story and fascinating lore being the ride. The Haunted Mansion attraction takes visitors through a spooky mansion filled with ghosts and supernatural squatters.
The popularity led to the 2003 movie Haunted Mansion and the 2021 special, Muppets Haunted Mansion. Now, this new live-action movie will deliver more spooks than ever before.
The Cast of ‘Haunted Mansion’ Visits the Source Material
The Cast and Crew are eagerly awaiting the premiere of Haunted Mansion on July 28, 2023. To help prepare for the occasion, some of the film’s leading actors took a trip to Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, to check out the original Haunted Mansion. Jamie Lee Curtis, LaKeith Stanfield, and Owen Wilson all were spotted hanging out at the Park.

In the film, Jamie Lee Curtis plays Madame Leota, LaKeith Stanfield plays Ben Matthias, and Owen Wilson plays Kent. The film looks absolutely incredible, in fact, Disney just released a brand new movie teaser that shows some awesome, behind-the-scenes moments. This movie looks like it is going to be absolutely incredible and definitely one you will not want to miss out on seeing.
