Set an Alarm for August 26 if You Want This Disney Collection

Not every Disney fan gets to be in a park during the holidays, and that stings more than people outside the fandom realize.

Halloween season at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort is the most merchandise-heavy stretch of the year outside Christmas. Popcorn buckets. Sippers. Spirit jerseys. Ears. Home decor. Loungefly bags. Most of it is park exclusive, most of it sells out, and plenty never reaches shopDisney at all.

Live in Ohio with a March trip booked? You watch it all happen on social media and move on.

That gap has been narrowing. Kohl’s carries casual Disney Halloween apparel. Target runs seasonal Disney drops. And now another national retailer is jumping in with something built specifically for this season.

Aldi. And if you want any of it, be early.

The Date for The Disney Drop

The Disney Halloween Aldi Finds collection lands Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

Aldi teased it on social media August 18, showing items featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Winnie the Pooh.

Their caption sets the whole tone:

“Your Halloween obsession and your Disney obsession just became best friends. The Disney Halloween #ALDIFinds collection is creeping into the Aisle of Shame on 8.26, bringing plenty of spooky charm, fall magic and ‘adding to cart immediately’ energy. Count on ALDI to have all the affordable Disney gear your fall-loving heart desires.”

What Is Coming in This Disney Collection

Per Aldi’s tease:

  • Mickey Mouse-shaped pumpkin decoration
  • Mickey and Minnie Halloween slippers
  • Winnie the Pooh Halloween plush
  • Mickey pumpkin mug
  • Minnie Mouse plush
  • Orange mouse ears headband
  • Halloween accent rug
  • Throw pillow with Mickey and Minnie dressed for the season

Heavier on home decor than apparel, which separates it from what Kohl’s has been doing.

The First Confirmed Price

One item is already listed on Aldi’s website. And more will start to show up.

The Winnie the Pooh Disney Halloween plush runs $9.99. Pooh is in a pumpkin costume with a jack-o’-lantern face and a pumpkin-stem hat.

Listed online now, available starting August 26.

Ten dollars for a licensed Disney plush is the entire argument here. Park equivalents cost several times that.

Why Speed Matters

Most important part.

Aldi Finds merchandise is available for a limited time only, and selection varies by store. This is not a permanent line that restocks. Gone means gone.

Aldi’s own nickname explains it. The Aisle of Shame has a cult following precisely because inventory is unpredictable, rotates constantly, and vanishes fast.

Add a licensed Disney collection with Halloween timing and you have something that will not survive the week at most locations. Maybe not the day.

Want a specific item, especially the Pooh plush or the mouse ears headband? Be there at open on the 26th.

The Timing Is Deliberate

This drops mid-season rather than at the start, which is smart.

Walt Disney World opened Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom on August 7. Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure started August 18.

So the parks have spent weeks flooding social media with Halloween content. Fans have watched popcorn buckets and party exclusives circulate all month.

Dropping an affordable, widely available collection into that mix catches everybody who has been staring at park merchandise while pricing out flights.

What This Is and Is Not

Fair comparison.

Park merchandise is more elaborate, more collectible, and much more expensive. A Halloween popcorn bucket at Magic Kingdom carries scarcity value a national retail run never will.

What Aldi offers is access. A themed rug, a throw pillow, and a mug for what one park item costs, available at a store you can drive to.

For fans who decorate for the season and cannot get to Florida or California in September, that trade makes sense.

Getting There

August 26. Wednesday.

Aldi Finds inventory varies by location, so if your local store runs small, scout a bigger one nearby.

And Aldi does not typically restock these. Whatever shows up on the 26th is what that store gets.

Halloween season is running at both resorts and, as of next week, at a grocery store near you. The park version costs more and needs a plane ticket. This one needs an alarm clock.
