What a transformation!
This year has been a big one for Disney when it comes to Park construction. Many areas of the Parks at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort have received major additions in 2023, and more are on the way. Whether it’s the new TRON Lightcycle/Run at Magic Kingdom Park or the new Tiana’s Palace restaurant at Disneyland Park, Guests have not been lacking new additions this year.
Now, the newest attraction has just removed its scaffolding, revealing itself fully for the first time to Guests.
Disneyland Welcomes New Addition
In 1962, Walt Disney himself oversaw the creation of the original Disneyland Adventureland Treehouse. Modeled after the Treehouse from the movie “Swiss Family Robinson,” this attraction instantly became a Disneyland staple. Unfortunately, time has not been kind to this attraction, and over the years, it became less and less popular among Guests. That’s why on November 10, 2023, Disney announced that they would be completely remodeling the treehouse into a completely updated attraction.
Walt Disney Imagineers have been working hard on the reimagined Adventureland Treehouse, and finally, 61 years since the original treehouse was unveiled, it has been revealed in its new form.
Scaffolding Is Down, and Opening Is Imminent
Guests visiting the Parks this weekend were treated to a full view of the new Adventureland Treehouse. The new treehouse looks absolutely incredible, and fans are really thrilled to see the vision come to life in such an accurate way.

Despite nearly all of the scaffolding being removed, there still has been no opening date revealed for this Disney Park attraction. Disney did promise that it would be open to visitors by the end of 2023, but nothing specific has been revealed.
However, it is looking like everything is finishing up, and Guests will soon be able to explore this incredible new area.
