It is finally here!
Back in 2022, one of the most iconic parts of Adventureland closed down for a massive remodel. Fans have been patiently waiting for the renovations to be complete, and by the looks of it, that may be happening soon. Fans of this Disney Park landmark will be thrilled to know that construction is coming along wonderfully and the project is nearing completion.
Iconic Disneyland Landmark Receives a Facelift
When you think of Adventureland in Disneyland Park, you likely think of all of the classic and iconic attractions this land has to offer. Here, you can find Indiana Jones Adventure, the Jungle Cruise, and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Everything about this land is vibrant, whimsical, and full of memories of classic Disney. One of the most iconic landmarks of this land is Tarzan’s Treehouse. Modeled after the original Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson treehouse, this landmark has been a part of Magic Kingdom Park’s history since the beginning.
In 2022, it was announced that Tarzan’s treehouse would be getting a massive remodel and would be transformed into an updated “Adventureland Treehouse.” The concept art for the new and improved space looks absolutely incredible, and fans are already in love with the area.
The renovations have taken quite a long time. As of now, an official opening date has not been announced. There were rumors that it would reopen sometime last February, but clearly, that did not happen. As time continued to pass, fans became concerned with the progress happening in the treehouse.
Guests Get Sneak Peak at Adventureland Treehouse
Luckily, Guests visiting the Parks today got an extra special sneak peek into the updated treehouse. Scaffolding has started to get removed around the treehouse, which has allowed the public to see what it looks like. So far, the parts that have been revealed look amazing. The similarity to the concept art is really exciting to see.
