This certainly wasn’t what Disney was hoping for.
The highly anticipated premiere for the new Haunted Mansion remake has Disney fans buzzing with excitement. The iconic Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort have been staple attractions for decades, and now this story is getting a modern twist on the big screen.
The original Haunted Mansion movie, released in 2003, starred Eddie Murphy and has a passionate fanbase to this day. This new remake promises to retain the charm of the original while offering a new, spookier take on the take. All of this is made possible by the film’s all-star cast and a talented team behind the scenes.
‘Haunted Mansion’ Prepares for Premier
One of the most exciting aspects of the Haunted Mansion remake is the cast. Prominent actors such as Rosario Dawson, Owen Wilson, Lakeith Stanfield, Jamie Lee Curtis, Justin Simien, Jared Leto, and Tiffany Haddish are set to bring their talent and star power to the film. This impressive lineup promises a captivating and memorable viewing experience.
This powerful group is also a big draw for fans to come to see the film. It’s fair to say that Disney is depending on this team to considerably help promote the film. However, with the recent SAG-AFTRA strike going into effect, that will not happen.

It is wild to realize just how much is going to change while this actors union strike is happening. No actors that are a part of SAG AFTRA will be able to promote their films. Red Carpet events will be a thing of the past until this strike is resolved.
