This Is One of the Worst Places for This EPCOT Attraction to Break Down

Walt Disney World Resort is no stranger to attractions breaking down or experiencing technical difficulties. In fact, rides experience technical difficulties every day at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

But it can’t be denied that some spots are better to break down in than others. Over in Animal Kingdom, some fortunate Guests recently experienced technical difficulties while riding the Na’vi River Journey, providing them with a way longer viewing of the ride’s finale: the Shaman of Songs.

Over in EPCOT, however, another Guest might have had the total opposite experience while riding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is one of the theme park’s newest attractions, located in the France Pavilion expansion in the World Showcase neighborhood. In the attraction, Guests shrink down to Chef Remy’s size and escape Chef Skinner in a 4-D adventure full of fun twists and turns.

The Walt Disney Imagineers have done a fantastic job creating the surroundings and designing the ride to make Guests feel like they’re really scampering around the kitchen floors of a 5-star restaurant in Paris, France. But for the riders in this nerve-wracking video, the Walt Disney Imagineers may have done too good of a job!

In this video, we can see that the Guests’ ride vehicle has stopped at the attraction’s finale, in which some rats successfully open a bottle of champagne, sending Guests careening backward and into Remy’s restaurant.

However, when you’re stopped at this exact moment, watching the looped footage for 15 minutes, the excitement may turn into a suspenseful anxiety! At least there are no real drops or launches to worry about in this case.
