While everything seems to be back to a pre-pandemic normal at Walt Disney World Resort, there are still a handful of things that are different. Guests are required to make theme park reservations in addition to getting their pass, not all restaurants — like 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian — are open (still), and some of the extra experiences are not being offered.
We have recently learned that one tour will be returning in under one month –one specifically for Disney Vacation Club Members.
According to the Disney Vacation Club site, DVC Fan, Disney’s complimentary behind-the-scenes tour of Soarin’ will return to EPCOT starting December 6. The tour is part of the Membership Extras that Disney Vacation Club members receive. According to the website, the tour will be offered every Tuesday — with the exception of December 20 and December 27 — from 7:15 a.m to 8:15 a.m, with check-in beginning at 7 a.m.
Here is more on the unique Disney tour. The information was shared by Disney when the tour was first offered:
Prepare for takeoff this fall at Walt Disney World Resort as you embark on a high flying journey to places like The Great Wall of China, Sydney Harbor in Australia and around the Matterhorn in Switzerland, all during the exciting attraction, Soarin’ Around the World, now open at Epcot*! Disney Vacation Club Members and their guests can get a behind-the-scenes look at this multi-sensory attraction during this all-new exclusive tour!
The Soarin’ Behind the Scenes tour became available to Disney Vacation Club members when Disney changed Soarin’ Over California to Soarin’ Around the World in 2016. The ride was changed at both EPCOT at Walt Disney World and California Adventure Park at Disneyland Resort. The behind-the-scenes tour is currently only being offered at EPCOT.
Disney Vacation Club members can also bring up to four additional Guests on the tour with them, even if they are not DVC members! To book this experience, Disney Vacation Club members can call Member Services at (800) 800-9800.
