After lots of anticipation, it is finally here.
Right now, both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are currently in the progress of adding numerous new Princess and the Frog additions to the Parks. Fans of the movie are absolutely thrilled that it is getting so much representation inside the Parks.
When it was announced that the iconic Disney Ride, Splash Mountain, would be getting rethemed to become Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This news came as a surprise for some due to hows popular the Splash Mountain attraction still was. Regardless, Disney has moved forward with the projects, which are both supposed to open next year.
However, we now know that a new Tiana-themes Park addition will be coming much sooner.

Tiana’s Palace Is Opening Soon
Located in the heart of New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park, Tiana’s Palace will transport guests to the vibrant streets of New Orleans with its authentic atmosphere and delectable cuisine. Inspired by the beloved Princess Tiana’s restaurant from The Princess and the Frog, this enchanting restaurant will be a must-visit for any Disney fan craving a taste of the Big Easy. Disney describes the restaurant, saying:
“Step inside this beautiful restaurant that’s a reminiscent slice of the elegant French Quarter. Tiana’s Palace is a quick-service style eatery built on hard work and a whole lotta love! Soak in the lively culture of New Orleans through new menu items inspired by the flavors of the Crescent City––including Southern comfort dishes and plates with a Cajun and Creole twist.
Come! Sit for a spell and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere as you experience Princess Tiana’s magnifique menu!”

Disney Imagineers have been hard at work building this incredible new restaurant. Since the film was released back in 2009, fans have encouraged Disney to create a version of this in one of the Disney Parks. When Disneyland Resort announced that this would be happening, the fan reaction was extremely positive.
Opening Date Finally Revealed
Construction has been well underway on Tiana’s Palace, and it has become clear that the restaurant is nearing completion. Earlier today, August 18, Disney finally revealed that Tiana’s Palace would be opening to the public on September 7, 2023.

The building really does look amazing, and fans cannot wait to see it in its full glory when it opens in just a few short weeks.
