Halloween has come and gone, meaning it’s time for Santa Claus, spiked eggnog, twinkling lights, and Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.
In addition to Disney World’s annual Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, it was announced earlier in the year that Hollywood Studios would be receiving its own Christmas celebration with the brand new Jollywood Nights!
Immediately, the news of a brand-new specialty-ticketed Christmas event at Walt Disney World raised a lot of eyebrows. As Hollywood Studios is typically a spot where other fan-favorite holiday happenings take place, including the projection layover of The Hollywood Tower of Terror, some wondered how Disney would incorporate their current holiday offerings on top of a new event.
The answer comes as Disney has released a schedule of showtimes in which those who have access to the park will still be able to experience fan-favorites like Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
Occurring on select nights from November 11 to December 20, Disney World cites the new addition to their holiday schedule as a place where “Hollywood Glamour Meets Holiday Cheer.” The glitz and glamor of an old-school Hollywood holiday season make its way to Hollywood Studios, bringing with it theme entertainment, exclusive shows, and merry mashups.

Disney has posted official showtimes for Disney Jollywood Nights:

Another brand new offering, What’s This? bring Jack Skellington to the Hyperion Theatre in a “dreamlike” adventure where guests will help defeat none other than Oogie Boogie himself.
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!: 12:30am
There’s no better way to end your holiday celebrations at Hollywood Studios than Jingle, Bell, Jingle BAM! The fan-favorite show includes lights, projections, lasers, and much more at the famous Chinese Theater. This show will take place once a night to wrap up the exclusive event.
Themed Entertainment at Disney’s Jollywood Nights
That sounds like an exciting time, but Disney World isn’t done yet. Those who have a ticket to Jollywood Nights, will have exclusive access to several locations featuring themed entertainment.
A live DJ, no, not DJ Rex, will be “spinning a holiday mix on Hollywood Boulevard,” while rare characters like Phineas and Ferb and Powerline Max meet guests around Echo Lake on Hollywood Boulevard.
The Hollywood Brown Derby will be offering jazzy eats, while those feeling a little spicy, this Christmas can head down Commissary Boulevard to experience Holiday Fiesta en la Calle, which will include high-energy Latin music.
But what about the Hollywood Tower Hotel? Don’t worry; Walt Disney World hasn’t left out their most exhilarating attraction. Join the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club in the courtyard of the hotel for a swingin’ good time featuring a live band playing big bop favorites.
Other Jollywood Nights Offerings
If you thought was good, as always, there’s more merriment to be had at Disney’s Jollywood Nights. Sensational Sweets and exclusive access to Galaxy’s Edge, including popular attractions like Rise of the Resistance and Smuggler’s Run, await guests of Batuu.
As well, characters, all in their winter’s best, will find their way around the event ready to mix and mingle with the Hollywood Studios elite attending Jollywood Nights each evening. Oh, and Muppets! That’s right, merry mashups, including Kermit, Miss, Piggy, and the rest of the gang, will be exclusively available to party attendees.
Jollywood Nights is shaping up to be incredible. With all the typical thrills and fun that Hollywood Studios has to offer, like Slinky Dog Dash in Toy Story Land, Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster, and Tower of Terror on Sunset Boulevard, there’s a vintage and exciting buzz in the air surrounding Disney World’s newest, and most exclusive holiday event this year!
Hollywood Studios Decor
As with any Disney Park during the Christmas season, Hollywood Studios is no slouch when it comes to decorating. Although you will no longer find the Osbourne Lights, you can look forward to plenty of tinsel and color all over. Many, including myself, prefer the vintage Hollywood-style feel of Studios during the holidays compared to that of Magic Kingdom. So, if you’re on the fence, be sure to grab your ticket, which is on sale now at Walt Disney World, as this exclusive event is sure to sell out quickly.
