Relaxing and unwinding are what every Disney vacation should be about! Unfortunately, for many of us, it is easy to get lost in the shuffle and hurry off with the crowd that we forget to slow down and enjoy the vacation. Walt Disney World’s Senses Spa was a great way to relax at one of the two locations including Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort but became “temporarily unavailable” when COVID hit in March 2020. Well, over a year later and we’re still seeing Senses Spa remain closed, like several experiences that have yet to reopen. While we have yet to hear any updates on Disney World’s spa future, we do know Disneyland is going all out and introducing a brand new spa that has us ready to book a visit at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Imagine yourself in a tranquil sanctuary being pampered from head to toe, enjoying a well-deserved getaway to Tenaya Stone Spa, a boutique retreat opening September 16, 2021, at the Disneyland Resort. This upscale spa is nestled in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and you can begin planning your spa day now by making advance reservations today! Tenaya Stone Spa initially will be available for Guests of the three Hotels of the Disneyland Resort and will be open to non-hotel Guests at a later date.”
Spa services at the new Tenaya (pronounced ten-eye-a) Spa are as heavenly as one could dream! The spa features eight treatment rooms, two for couples massage, four manicure/pedicure chairs, a relaxation lounge, men’s and women’s changing rooms, and a retail boutique. Need a massage? You can choose from a customized Tenaya Signature Massage, the Tenaya River Stone Massage, the Head, Hands & Feet With Heart Massage, the Tenaya Signature Couples Massage, or an Aromatherapy Massage to name a few. There is even a Mother To Be Massage!
If you’re looking for other Spa treatments, Tenaya has no shortage of amazing choices to indulge in including Herbal Body Treatments, special feet treatments, salon services, and more! Plus facials and make-up applications will be offered at Tenaya Stone Spa at a later date.
