Something NEW has arrived at Walt Disney World Resort… NEW strollers! That’s right, on January 20, 2022, Disney rolled out new strollers throughout its Parks. Check out the new look below!
While the previous tan double and single rental strollers served their purpose, it’s nice to see a facelift come to the stroller rental option at Disney. Why have a boring stroller while cruising along through the magic when you can have one that features Mickey and Minnie Mouse?
We recently posted the story about an angry Guest having a massive meltdown due to her stroller being moved by a Walt Disney World Cast Member. There are select Stroller Parking locations, and yes, you can expect if you don’t park your stroller in one of these locations it may be moved. Or, if you park your stroller in Disney’s Stroller Parking it does tend to get moved down the row by a Cast Member assigned to ensure all the spaces are filled in.
We also recommend reviewing Disney’s stroller policy before bringing your own stroller and/or renting a stroller once inside the Park. But, with that – let’s take a look at the NEW strollers!

@planDisney took to Twitter to share, “The rental strollers at @WaltDisneyWorld Resort just got a bit more character. This new design featuring Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse just rolled out today at all four parks and @DisneySprings.”

We’re loving the design! A further look is shared by Walt Disney World Cast and Community as they took to Facebook to share, “Oh boy! Little Mouseketeers can now ride down Main Street in style with new Mickey and Minnie themed strollers. Thank you to the Cast who helped prepare thousands of strollers for their big debut at the theme parks and Disney Springs today!” Check out the photos below:
Looks like a large lot of both double and single-sized strollers. We recommend making your stroller rental stop your first when you enter the Park, just in case Disney were to run out of strollers to rent.

Disney’s pricing for a single stroller rental fee is currently $15 daily or $13 for a multi-day (Length of Stay) option. A double stroller is $31 daily or $27 for a multi-day (Length of Stay) rental. Take note that a $100 credit card deposit is required for strollers rented at Disney Springs.
For the Length of Stay choice, you pre-pay the number of days that you will require a stroller and save in the long run. If you purchase a length of stay rental ticket, upon visiting a Theme Park, simply show your receipt at the rental location to receive your stroller for the day.
Wondering about sizes and weight restrictions for the new stroller selections? Disney Park’s double stroller is recommended for children 100 lbs. or less with the single stroller recommended for children 50 lbs. or less.
We’re loving this new look! Do you use a Disney stroller rental when visiting the Parks? Let us know in the comments.
