NEW ‘Finding Nemo’ Water Attraction Debuts at Disney

Well, dream no more because Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, located at the Disneyland Resort in Sothern California, has made it a reality with its Finding Nemo-themed water play area on the rooftop pool deck. This magical addition to the hotel’s amenities allows Guests of all ages to immerse themselves in the wonders of the beloved Pixar film.

Splash and Swim With Nemo & Friends

Situated in the heart of Disneyland Resort, the Paradise Pier Hotel offers an extraordinary experience for families and Disney enthusiasts alike. Right now, the hotel is in the middle of being reimagined into Pixar Place Hotel. This hotel, which overlooks Disney California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney District, will soon be themed after the incredible works of Pixar Studios. The Disneyland hotel will receive many new additions, the pool area being one of them.

Inspired by the success and popularity of Finding Nemo, Disney Imagineers worked tirelessly to recreate the essence of the film within a water-based Disney Park playground. Children and adults alike can embark on an adventure as they make their way through the interactive play area. Every corner is adorned with colorful murals and features iconic characters such as Nemo, Marlin, Dory, Crush, and other memorable underwater friends. The area features a slide and a gorgeous swimming pool.

Disney Prepares for Opening Day

There is so much excitement surrounding this new reimaging of this Disneyland Resort hotel. Pixar Place Hotel’s transformation will not be completed until this winter, but the Finding Nemo rooftop play area will be open starting tomorrow, August 1, 2024.

It is so exciting to see some more Pixar representation in any theme Park or Disney Resort. Finding Nemo is truly an incredible movie, and fans are going to love this gorgeous new pool area. We cannot wait to see the whole hotel when it is completed later this year!
