With Jurassic World Rebirth set to bring the franchise back to theaters in 2025, the Jurassic Park brand continues to expand across multiple forms of media. From the upcoming survival-based “Jurassic Park: Survival” to the park-management sim “Jurassic World Evolution 3”, the series is making just as strong a presence in the gaming industry.
Now, a newly discovered project suggests there may be even more Jurassic gaming content on the horizon.
A LinkedIn listing from John Melchior, an executive producer at NBCUniversal Media, has revealed that another Jurassic video game is in development. Melchior, who is already working on “Jurassic Park: Survival” and “Jurassic World Evolution 3”, recently updated his professional profile, listing an unnamed Jurassic World/Park game under his responsibilities, marked as “TBA.”
While no official announcement has been made by Universal or any associated developers, this listing all but confirms that another game is in active development.
At this time, details about the project remain elusive. Unlike “Jurassic Park: Survival”, which is a first-person survival game that takes place on Isla Nublar following the events of the 1993 film, and “Jurassic World Evolution 3”, a strategy-based park simulator, there’s no indication of what genre this mysterious title will fall under.
It’s also unclear whether it will tie into Jurassic World Rebirth, feature original storytelling, or serve as another direct sequel to Jurassic Park.

However, given Melchior’s involvement with “Survival”, some speculation could suggest that this unknown game might share creative DNA with that project. However, without further information, it remains purely guesswork. The Jurassic franchise has experimented with various gaming styles over the years, from the arcade shooter “Jurassic Park” (1994) to the action-adventure “Jurassic Park: The Game” (2011). Could this new title finally be the long-awaited open-world Jurassic game that fans have wanted for years?
Until an official announcement is made, the listing on Melchior’s LinkedIn remains the only concrete evidence of this new project. With two confirmed Jurassic games already on the way, it’s clear that Universal sees the franchise’s gaming potential as a key part of its future. Whether this new title will deliver something entirely fresh or expand on existing stories remains to be seen.
For now, Jurassic fans have plenty to look forward to, including “Jurassic Park: Survival”, “Jurassic World Evolution 3”, Season 3 of the Netflix animated series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, and, of course, Jurassic World Rebirth, which is set to hit theaters on July 2, 2025.
Jurassic World Rebirth stars Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Endgame), Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer), Rupert Friend (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Mahershala Ali (The Green Book), Luna Blaise (Manifest), David Iacono (Dead Boy Detectives), Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs Lopez), Philippine Velge (Station Eleven), Bechir Sylvain (BMF), and Ed Skrein (Deadpool).
