Recently, Mickey Mouse in “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse” was retired and paid tribute to Steamboat Willie in the final episode, which ended the show’s long-running time releasing new shorts on Disney+. Now, it seems that Mickey Mouse has gone viral in a different way.

In a recent  TikTok, Mickey Mouse can be seen losing his shoe. He quickly hides his foot behind him and keeps on performing as the show must go on. Disney character malfunctions are uncommon but tend to happen from time to time. Guests have seen Donald Duck almost lose his head, Disney Characters have slipped and fallen, and Guests have even tried to undress Disney Princesses before.

Though you won’t be able to catch new episodes of the Mickey Mouse character that we’ve come to love on Disney+, you can still visit him at the Disney Parks and enjoy old episodes, which include classic editions of the character. It should be noted that Disney will lose copyright to Mickey’s Steamboat Willie as the character will officially enter Public Domain in 2024.
