On November 11, Disneyland will kick off its first-ever Christmas party called Disney Merriest Nites — which will run for five select nights between November and December. Merriest Nites will take place at Disneyland Park and will feature six Christmas parties in one — ranging from celebrating with Lilo and Stitch in Adventureland to Tiana and friends in New Orleans Square.
Merriest Nites will feature a number of characters, including some who are rarely seen in the parks, as well as specialty food, drinks, and merchandise. While Disney had been quiet on just what they meant when they said specialty food, they have now given Guests a first look — a big, delicious first look.
Disney Parks Blog shared more information on the festive offerings that will be coming to the new, hard-ticketed event.
In addition to all the incredible eats and treats that have been created for this year’s holiday season around the resort (more on that, soon!), Disney chefs have also curated more than 20 specialty items just for Disney Merriest Nites! Each of the six parties will have food and beverage items themed specifically to that party available for you to enjoy.
Savory items include the Andouille Sausage Po’ Boy at French Market and the Thanksgiving Leftover Burger at Galactic Grill. For a sweet treat, you’ll want to grab the Sipping Chocolate with Dipping Waffle over at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café or perhaps the Dulce de Leche-drizzled Christmas Churro at the Hub Churro Cart on Main Street, U.S.A. Other Disney Merriest Nites items include the Paradise Party Float from The Tropical Hideaway, Remember Me Cinnamon Fry Bread at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante and the Frozen Flurry from Red Rose Taverne. No matter how you choose to indulge, feasting on these festive foods will be a highlight of your experience!
And don’t forget to take advantage of mobile food ordering on the Disneyland app**; plan ahead and save time!
In addition to revealing the incredible food that will be offered, Disney also gave a sneak peek at some of the adorable merchandise that will for sale to Merriest Nites Guests only — including a t-shirt, long-sleeved shirt, and a tumbler.
Merriest Nites will begin at 8 p.m. on event nights, but Guests with valid Merriest Nites tickets will be allowed to enter Disneyland Park beginning at 5 p.m. — a great amount of time to get in a few rides and get into the Christmas and Disney spirit before the party starts! Park hopping with your Merriest Nites ticket will not be available.
