Mayhem on Main Street: Disneyland Invites Music Festival Crowd Into Park
Disneyland Paris Resort is turning up the volume with its newest event, the Disney Music Festival. From now until September 7, 2025, guests are invited to enjoy 12 unique live performances celebrating the music of Walt Disney Animation and Pixar, taking place across various Disneyland Park lands, including Discoveryland, Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Main Street, U.S.A.
Coinciding with the celebration of World Music Day (Fête de la Musique) on June 21, this marks the first-ever Disney Music Festival at Disneyland Paris. The event features a mix of four live concerts and eight “musical encounters” with Disney and Pixar characters, showcasing an eclectic range of musical genres such as classical, pop, rock, folk, and electronic. Disney Park guests can expect performances throughout the day that add a vibrant soundtrack to their experience.
The festival kicks off on Main Street, U.S.A., which will host the largest number of performances. Mickey Mouse, dressed in a brand-new conductor outfit, leads the “Welcome to Disney Music Festival” and “Mickey’s Goodnight” events. Meanwhile, Minnie Mouse commands “Minnie’s Marching Band,” performing five times daily, with a repertoire that includes Disney classics like “Into the Unknown” and “Hakuna Matata.” Fan-favorite tunes are brought to life by a talented brass and percussion band, featuring two trombonists, three saxophonists, and several other musicians.
“Goofy’s Imaginary Orchestra” takes over the area in Central Plaza in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, offering what Disneyland Paris Resort describes as a “crazy and fun musical moment.” This 15-minute performance is offered up to eight times daily. Also on Main Street, U.S.A., Mary Poppins and Bert invite guests to join “Mary Poppins and the Pearly Band” for another six-person band experience, offered six times daily.
Discoveryland features its own musical surprises, with Chip and Dale hosting the “Disney Music Hits Concert” at Videopolis Theater. This 30-minute concert, held four times daily, includes iconic songs like “Friend Like Me” and “Try Everything,” performed by a six-piece band. Disney Park guests can also meet Stitch in his Elvis costume inside Arcade Bêta, where they’ll hear classic rock and roll tunes. Guests need to register for a Virtual Queue via the Disneyland Paris app for this experience.
In Frontierland, guests can join Miguel from Coco (2017) and a mariachi band for “Miguel’s Fiesta Latina,” the festival’s sole Frontierland performance. This vibrant mariachi celebration takes place five times a day.
Over in Adventureland, “Moana and her Musicians” brings the rhythms of the Pacific Islands to life, with a 15-minute percussion show performed five times daily. Timon and Pumbaa also bring their own fun to Adventureland with “Timon’s Matadance,” a high-energy percussion performance held up to four times daily.
In Fantasyland, Donald and Daisy Duck introduce “Donald and Daisy’s Accordionist,” a 15-minute show that features a talented accordionist performing romantic Disney and Pixar songs. This performance is offered six times daily. Meanwhile, Rapunzel and Flynn invite guests to a “Musical Meet-Up with Rapunzel and Flynn,” where a group of musicians plays Disney favorites in a 15-minute show held four times daily.
To wrap up the day’s musical festivities, Main Street, U.S.A. comes alive with “The Grand Orchestra Finale.” Mickey Mouse conducts the grand finale with nearly 90 performers, including the marching band, mariachi band, and Moana’s percussionists, culminating in a thrilling medley of songs heard throughout the day and a tune composed exclusively for the Disney Music Festival: “Viva la Musique.” This 20-minute show only takes place once daily.
The Disney Music Festival also offers exclusive themed merchandise for guests, including a Mickey Mouse conductor headband, a travel mug, and a tie-dye Mickey Mouse t-shirt. Exclusive snack offerings include Chip & Dale brookies, Daisy Duck’s vanilla and strawberry milkshake topped with a glazed donut, and popcorn served in a Minnie Mouse bucket. These are available at stalls throughout Disneyland Park.
