The highly anticipated Hatbox Ghost Tiki Mug is here, and Disney fans everywhere are buzzing with excitement. This limited-edition drink mug is inspired by the beloved Hatbox Ghost, an iconic character from the Haunted Mansion attraction. Disneyland Resort is thrilled to be able to offer such an iconic piece of merchandise to fans as the Parks enter the Halloween season.

Disney Dazzles Fans With New Mug!
This isn’t the first time that the Haunted Mansion has collaborated with Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar. The first Hatbox Ghost Mug was released in 2014, and since then, these mugs have become a must-have item for collectors and enthusiasts.
Now, fans of the Hatbox Ghost can rejoice as the mug returns for its 3rd edition release. This mug, which is the third edition, features a detailed design of the Hatbox Ghost himself carved in a tiki style. The mug is a “ghostly green color” with a black glaze.

This mug is being released as a celebration of the 54th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland Park. Each mug comes with a specialty cocktail called the “Cloaked Specter.” Guests can also order a non-alcoholic version.
Guests Wait in Long Lines for NEW Tiki Mug!
Today, on August 9, 2023, these spooky mugs went on sale to Guests. As expected, demand for these adorable mugs is extremely high. The mugs went on sale at 11:30 a.m. PT, and Guests were prepared and ready.

At 9 a.m., Guests were lined up throughout the Parks, eagerly waiting for the sale to begin. Many fans will stand in line for hours today in order to receive a coveted mug. As always, the resale value of these mugs is high, so many Guests see them as a way to make some extra cash. To help prevent this, Disney has limited the sale of these mugs to two per person.
