It seems hard to believe, but it has been nearly one year since beloved Friends star Matthew Perry was found unconscious in the jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home. Perry was found by his assistant on October 28, and 9-1-1 was immediately called. His assistant stated that the actor had suffered from a “cardiac event.” Emergency services quickly responded and were at the residence in a matter of minutes, but sadly, it was too late, and Mr. Perry was pronounced dead at just 54 years old.

Two months after Perry’s sudden and shocking passing, the toxicology reports came back, and the Los Angeles Medical Examiner announced that the actor had died from the “acute effects” of ketamine. The actor had been using ketamine — a powerful dissociative anesthetic — as part of a therapeutic treatment. However, the amount found in his system indicated that he was illegally obtaining the drug and taking it without a doctor overseeing it.
Throughout his life, Mr. Perry had been very open about his struggles with addiction, which he had battled for decades. In his memoir, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing, Perry admitted that he was an alcoholic when he was only 14 years old. He became addicted to the painkiller Vicodin after a jet skiing accident in 1997. And things only got worse from there.
Over the years, Perry went to rehab more than once and struggled to remain clean, but he gave it his all. He even created the Matthew Perry Foundation to help those struggling with drug addiction.
Sadly, his alcohol and drug addiction, as well as his mental health struggles, caused the actor to feel isolated and alone. Now, a new report indicates that the actor joined several adult sites in the weeks before his death, hoping for friendship.
According to a new report from Radar Online:
A source told us he spent his final days messaging two X-rated content creators aged 21 – asking them if they wanted to be “friends – and maybe more”
Matthew reached out to the blonde and brunette after spotting them on a sleazy site we are not naming to avoid giving it publicity.
The platform bills itself as a rival to OnlyFans and hosts raunchy content by the likes of low-rent reality TV stars and influencers.
Matthew spotted the two models he wanted to befriend after signing up to their subscription-based profiles weeks before his death.
The women Perry allegedly messaged asked to remain anonymous, but said that he was “never anything beyond a funny gentleman.” They also said that they were very big fans of his. They did not want to reveal who they were out of fear that their accounts would be hacked and their messages with Perry leaked to the media.
The Los Angeles Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Agency are currently conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding Perry’s death. They want to know how he got his hands on the final dose of ketamine, and it looks like he received the drugs through the mail.

The women have acknowledged suspicious activities on their accounts and that some of their private messages had been accessed. They want people to know that if Perry’s private messages are released, they have nothing to do with it. They respected and cared for the actor.
Police have said that those who contributed to Perry’s death would be charged and could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted of charges like Involuntary Manslaughter. As part of their investigation, police have spoken to Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, who Perry met while in rehab.
Police have also spoken to another person, but they have not been identified. Police are expected to arrest multiple people tied to Perry’s sudden death, and when they do, the dark underbelly of the Hollywood drug scene will be exposed.
We do not know if and when charges will be announced in relation to the Friends star’s death, but we do know that the LAPD and DEA are nearing the end of their investigation.
