On October 28, 2023, fans around the world were shocked and added to learn that Friends star Matthew Perry had died at the age of 54. Perry was found unconscious in his hot tub by an assistant, who then called 9-1-1.

When the call was made to emergency services, it was reported as a cardiac event, and initial reports indicated that Perry had died due to accidental drowning. However, due to the circumstances surrounding his death, an in-depth toxicology report was ordered.

Nearly two months later, it was revealed that Mr. Perry had some serious drugs in his system and had died from the “acute effects of ketamine.” There were other factors that contributed to his death, including drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine (used to treat opioid addiction). Ultimately, his death was ruled an accident.

Then, seven months after his passing, the Los Angeles Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Agency announced that they were launching a joint investigation into Mr. Perry’s death. The goal was to find out how Perry got his hands on ketamine in the first place. He was being treated with the drug in therapy, but the amount in his system indicated that he was getting it from sources outside his doctor.

Just weeks later, In Touch revealed that the police were talking to an actress in connection with his death. The actress was reportedly married to a well-known celebrity. Police said that the actress was cooperative while questioned, and they confiscated her iPhone and computer, which she willingly surrendered.

The actress has since hired a lawyer, and In Touch is now exclusively reporting that they know who the actress is.

According to a new report, the woman in question is Brooke Mueller, the ex-wife of Two and a Half Men star, Charlie Sheen.

Charlie Sheen‘s ex-wife and actress Brooke Mueller has been questioned “multiple” times by cops related to the criminal investigation into Matthew Perry‘s death, In Touch can exclusively confirm.

In Touch is naming Brooke after multiple sources confirmed she had told friends of her connection to the ongoing investigation.

The insider who spoke to In Touch said that Matthew Perry and Ms. Mueller met while they were both in rehab, where they formed an “unexpected friendship.”

The source exclusively told In Touch how Brooke “had been in treatment with Matthew before, and they had a lot of ties in the acting community. It was an unexpected friendship, but they leaned on each other.”

Before his death, Perry admitted to being in rehab more than a dozen times over the years.

Ms. Mueller has struggled with drugs and alcohol and has been to rehab more than once over the years. In 1996, she was arrested for a DUI in Palm Beach County, Florida. Then, five years later, she was arrested in Miami-Dade County, Florida, for cocaine possession.

In 2006, she met Charlie Sheen, and the two got engaged in 2007 and married in 2008. They went on to have two children — twins, Bob and Max. Sadly, having children didn’t prevent Sheen and Mueller from engaging in dangerous behavior. Just months after their twin sons were born, Sheen was arrested for domestic violence.

The couple divorced in 2011, and that same year, Ms. Mueller completed an outpatient rehab program. Sadly, just two years later, her children would be removed from her home because of her ongoing drug use. She regained custody in 2015, but in 2019 gave temporary custody to her mother while she entered rehab once again to deal with her substance abuse and mental health issues and their root causes.

At this time, the LAPD has not confirmed Ms. Mueller’s connection to Mr. Perry’s death, but reports have indicated that she has been cooperative throughout the process.
