If there is one thing that you probably do not want to say when talking about your Disney vacation, it’s, “I got arrested.” But that is exactly what happened to one man who decided to visit Disneyland Resort. And now, he is most likely not welcome back to Disneyland — or any other Disney theme park — anytime soon.

Redditor Jozy164 recently shared a video of a man being held on the ground as he was arrested by officers from the Anaheim Police Department. The man had allegedly been arrested for shoplifting. It was also said that the police officers had to bring him to the ground in order to restrain him because he was trying to resist the arrest.

In the video, shocked bystanders watched as the deputies not only arrested the Haunted Mansion spirit jersey-wearing man, but also pulled multiple items from his pockets. It is unknown if these items belonged to the man, or if they were items that he was accused of stealing.

We do not know if the man was taken to an Orange County jail, booked, or charged with any crime. We also do not know what items the man was accused of stealing, or what Downtown Disney store he is accused of taking the items from.

Sadly, this is not the first time that guests have been accused of heading into a store on Disney property and stealing.

Most recently, a father/daughter duo was arrested at the Walt Disney World Resort. They allegedly went into the Oakley store — famous for its sunglasses — and stole nearly $1,500 worth of merchandise. They were seen stealing on video camera, but the mother who was with them was not, so she was allowed to leave.

And back in February 2o23, a man was arrested in Disney Springs after going on a stealing spree. Marcus Casida was spotted by a loss prevention officer as he was stealing hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from Uniqlo. When he was arrested, police also discovered items that were reportedly stolen from World of Disney, as well as the World of Disney store.

Disney takes any cases of theft at one of its theme park locations very seriously. Disney Park cast members will not hesitate to reach out to the local police to deal with a person who reportedly stealing.
