Jurassic World Rebirth is just six months away, and now, key details about the highly anticipated film are beginning to surface. Directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, 2014) and written by Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp, the seventh film in the iconic franchise promises a return to the awe and suspense of the original 1993 movie.
The story follows Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), a covert operative tasked with retrieving critical genetic material from three of the largest dinosaurs ever discovered.
While Universal Pictures has yet to release a trailer, recent promotional material has included several screenshots of the film’s cast members and their respective characters, including Johansson’s lead, Jonathan Bailey’s paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis, and Rupert Friend’s big pharma rep Martin Krebs.

But so far, no dinosaurs have been revealed or even mentioned, whether by Universal, the creatives, or the cast members. Director Gareth Edwards previously told Empire Magazine, that “there are certain dinosaurs it would be a crime against cinema not to include” in the upcoming film, but that’s it.
However, now, a Brazilian toy fair has seemingly confirmed which dinosaurs will be appearing. Among the species hinted at in a new catalogue listing are returning favorites like the T-Rex and Spinosaurus, the latter making its first big-screen appearance since Jurassic Park III (2001). The listing also includes the Mosasaurus and Titanosaurus, which are likely two of the “three most massive dinosaurs” mentioned in the film’s synopsis.

With all that said, it’s worth noting that just because these dinosaurs are indeed listed as Jurassic World Rebirth products, they may not appear in the film, which would be quite normal for this franchise, as every entry so far has had dinosaur toys released under its name that haven’t actually appeared on screen.
A particularly cryptic addition is the mention of an unspecified “villain” dinosaur. Could this be the rumored “mutant dinosaur”? We’ll just have to wait and see.
