‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Will Be Closely Followed by Another Sequel, Three Returning Characters Already Confirmed
The Jurassic Park franchise has long captured the imaginations of fans, and now, with the highly anticipated Jurassic World Rebirth slated for release in July 2025, the excitement surrounding new content is reaching a fever pitch.
But as the cinematic side of the franchise gears up for a fresh era, it’s not the only Jurassic experience on the horizon. A new game, “Jurassic Park: Survival”, is set to offer fans another opportunity to explore the world of Isla Nublar, though this time in the form of an interactive adventure.

While Jurassic World Rebirth promises a whole new direction for the films—bringing in an ensemble cast led by Scarlett Johansson and introducing new dinosaurs—”Jurassic Park: Survival” takes a different, but equally thrilling approach.
The game, which is being developed by Saber Interactive, serves as a prequel, taking place right after the events of the 1993 Jurassic Park film. This adds a nostalgic layer for fans of the original movie, while also offering an immersive experience that hasn’t been explored in previous video games.
In contrast to the blockbuster spectacle of the film franchise, the game promises to take a much darker and grittier approach to survival.

In “Jurassic Park: Survival”, players will assume the role of Dr. Maya Joshi, a scientist who must rely on her intellect and survival skills to navigate the treacherous landscape of Isla Nublar.
While many of the human characters from the original film won’t be returning (for obvious reasons—they left the island by helicopter), the game will incorporate a variety of fan-favorite dinosaurs, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Velociraptor, and the Gallimimus.
What’s more exciting is the return of Mr. DNA, the quirky animated mascot from Jurassic Park. Fans can expect this familiar face to make an appearance, though it’s unclear whether Mr. DNA will be part of the gameplay or just a nostalgic nod to the past.
With the game set a day after the events of the original film, it’s likely that players will encounter various challenges that tie directly into the world of Jurassic Park.
While Jurassic World Rebirth aims to offer a new take on the Jurassic saga, “Jurassic Park: Survival” is designed to deepen the lore and provide a more hands-on experience.
The game may not have a set release date yet, but its connection to the original film’s world and its focus on survival in the dinosaur-filled jungles of Isla Nublar will undoubtedly make it a title that many fans are eager to experience.
